Most of David Stremme’s Indianapolis Motor Speedway success came behind the wheel of a Chip Ganassi Racing or Penske Racing South car, but he also managed to complete the distance in 2012 in the No. 30 owned by Timothy McSweeney. He finished 24th after starting 26th.
Flat tracks tend to be driver’s tracks, and while that is less noticeable in marquee races like the Brickyard 400, dark horses occasionally score top-25 finishes. Stremme will fly under the radar screen this week, which could provide an opportunity for fantasy players who are willing to roll the dice. Jul 25 - 9:13 AM

Swan Racing returns this week to the No. 30 Toyota driven by David Stremme at Phoenix International Raceway.

Last week in Daytona, Swan Racing dedicated its efforts on raising donations and awareness for the Newtown, Ct community by running the No. 26 Sandy Hook Memorial Fund Toyota driven by Michael Waltrip. Stremme will compete on behalf of Swan Racing the rest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season in the No. 30 where he will race hard every lap of every race. This is significant given that Stremme was ordered to "start and park" in past seasons. That was until new owner Brandon Davis stepped in late last year creating Swan Racing.
