Swan Racing returns this week to the No. 30 Toyota driven by David Stremme at Phoenix International Raceway.
Last week in Daytona, Swan Racing dedicated its efforts on raising donations and awareness for the Newtown, Ct community by running the No. 26 Sandy Hook Memorial Fund Toyota driven by Michael Waltrip. Stremme will compete on behalf of Swan Racing the rest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season in the No. 30 where he will race hard every lap of every race. This is significant given that Stremme was ordered to "start and park" in past seasons. That was until new owner Brandon Davis stepped in late last year creating Swan Racing. Mar 1 - 12:23 PM

Tony Eury Jr. will be the crew chief for Swan Racing's No. 30 Toyota driven by David Stremme for the 2013 season.

Eury began his NASCAR career in 1991 when he was hired to work for Dale Earnhardt, Inc. He has been a part of 19 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories with Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr. including twice winning the Budweiser Shootout in 2003 and 2008. In 2006, Earnhardt qualified for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and finished 5th in points with Eury making the calls on race day. Most recently, Eury was Danica Patrick's crew chief/co-owner JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The team won the Coors Light Pole in Daytona for the 2012 Drive 4COPD 300.

David Stremme - Swan Racing-30

Led by NASCAR's newest team owner, Brandon Davis, Swan Racing will compete full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, racing the No. 30 Toyota driven by David Stremme.

Davis, CEO of independent oil and gas company Swan Energy Inc., and a dirt-modified driver in the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) purchased the assets of Inception Racing earlier this year. "Swan Racing is here to race competitively every week – the days of starting and parking are over. I am confident that we are putting together the personnel to one day produce a championship contender," said Davis. Davis has tapped Steve Hmiel to be Swan Racing's director of competition.
