Stanton Barrett will make his return to NASCAR action with Rick Ware Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Charlotte next weekend for the Dollar General 300.

Barrett's return will mark the 21th anniversary of competition where he has competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, Indy Racing League, IMSA and ARCA Series. Barrett will be piloting the #15 FairGirls.org/4caring.org in his return with RWR.-jayski.com

Stanton Barrett knows his way around a road course and that provided him the experience to get around the tricky 4-mile track at Road America for the Bucyrus 200 and grab another Top 20 for Rick Ware Racing.

Barrett has regulated himself to a partial NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule in 2010 while he continues his stunt work in Hollywood for the upcoming movies, 127 Hours and Blood Meridian. The limited schedule has shown a benefit for Barrett as his last two races have resulted in a 14th at Darlington Raceway and a 17th at Road America.-Rick Ware Racing

Stanton Barrett, the "Hollywood Stuntman", returns to Sin City for the running of the Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on February 27th.

It is the same place he witnessed a Top 10 finish vanish in the closing laps with a blown motor. "I really enjoy racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I like the track configuration and the crowds are always electric", stated Barrett. Barrett will be piloting the #31 Fuel Doctor USA Chevy once again this weekend and looks forward to finishing at the front. -Rick Ware Racing

Stanton Barrett will miss the October 10th Nationwide Series Copart 300 at Auto Club Speedway.

The team is outside the top 30 in owners points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. The No. 31 Chevrolet driver’s qualifying speed of 173.452 mph, 42nd fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

Stanton Barrett, NASCAR Nationwide Series driver and Hollywood stuntman, will pilot the No. 31 Rick Ware Racing car at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., on Oct. 10.

The No. 31 car will carry associate sponsorship from Bantam Books’ Family Affair, a newly released novel by Caprice Crane. Crane currently writes for the re-launched TV show "Melrose Place" and has also written for "90210." Barrett, one of the drivers who was required to qualify on time, ran a 34th fastest speed of 75.198 mph, good enough to put the No. 41 Mathews Media Chevrolet in the lineup for Sunday’s event.

Barrett qualified the No. 31 Interush,net Chevrolet 37th fastest with a speed of 171.990 mph. This was good enough for the 43rd spot in the lineup.

Rick Ware announced that former Sprint Cup Champion Crew Chief, Paul Andrews will be calling the shots for the #31 RWR entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Andrews began his career in 1979 when he worked on Rusty Wallace’s USAC team. While working with Wallace, he moved into the ASA series in 1983 where the team won the championship that year. Andrews’ Cup series career has been in full swing since 1988 when he was crew chief for the late Alan Kulwicki. Andrews and Kulwicki marched to a NASCAR championship and captured two wins and six poles in 1992. In 1993 Andrews went on to work with drivers such as Geoffrey Bodine and Jeremy Mayfield. In 1999, Andrews began working at Dale Earnhardt, Inc. with Steve Park and the No. 1 team garnering two wins.
