2018 has become a series-best season start for Elliott Sadler (No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro) with seven consecutive single-digit finishes. With an average finish of 5.1 so far this year, he heads to his home track this weekend as the NASCAR Xfinity Series points leader.

In 29 NXS starts at Richmond Raceway, Sadler has five top fives and 14 top 10s. With their strong finish at Bristol, the No. 1 team qualified for and will compete in Friday night’s Xfinity Dash 4 Cash event. The team is one of only four driving for the $100,000 prize at Richmond.-JR Motorsports

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 Armour Chili Chevrolet) tied his record of six straight single-digit finishes to start a NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) season last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

Bristol Motor Speedway is one of Sadler’s strongest tracks with multiple wins (1998 and 2012) and a high of 214 laps led. In addition to his wins, Sadler has eight top fives, 11 top 10s and one pole award (2010) in 22 NXS starts at BMS. Sadler’s first Cup Series win came at Bristol in 2001.-JR Motorsports

Sadler is the only driver with five single-digit finishes in the first five starts among both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series. His average 2018 finish is 4.8. In 20 starts at Texas Motor Speedway, he has four top-five and 13 top-10 finishes, with two pole awards (April 1998 and November 2011).
