Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet Camaro) won the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300, his 13th victory in 323 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.
With the victory he automatically advances to the Round of 8 in the Chase for the NXS championship, which starts after the next two races, on October 15 at Kansas Speedway. This is Sadler's third victory and 24th top-10 finish in 2016 and his first victory and eighth top-10 finish in 11 races at Kentucky Speedway (KS). Daniel Suarez (second) posted his third top-10 finish in four races at KS. Ryan Blaney (third) posted his first top-10 finish in one races at Kentucky Speedway. Kentucky Speedway starts the Chase for the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) and Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet Camaro) enters as the second seed, just six points back from leader Erik Jones.

The Emporia, Va. native has 10 NXS starts at Kentucky Speedway with four top-five and seven top-10 finishes. Sadler’s best finish was second in 2013. He has one top-five and five top-10 finishes at mile-and-a-half tracks in 2016 and finished sixth at Kentucky this past July. Sadler leads all NXS regulars with 23 top-10 finishes in 2016 and holds a 7.3 average finish which is the best average finish in the Series.-JR Motorsports

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet Camaro) finished third in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series The Drive For Safety 300 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL.

He started fourth in the lineup, led six laps and completed all laps of the 200 laps run. Sadler is the leader in the point standings after the final race of the regular season. Only the top 12 in the points will continue competing in the Chase for the 2016 NXS Championship after this race. He made the cut based on points and two wins. He is seeded 2nd with 2006 points.
