Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Financial Chevrolet Camaro) enters the 2017 season at Daytona International Speedway Speedway (DIS) after a career-best season earning 29 top-10 finishes and claiming the runner-up position in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) championship.
In 15 NXS starts at DIS, Sadler has earned five top-five finishes, seven top-10 finishes and one pole award, with a best finish of second (July 2015). Elliott Sadler posted the second fastest time in qualification for the Daytona 500 among non-chartered entrants and knows he will race next Sunday.

Sadler and Brendan Gaughan locked their cars in based on time, but their starting position will be determined by the qualification races. Sadler is running for Tommy Baldwin Racing in a part time role and a good run in the 500 might open possibilities to run more later in the year.

Elliott Sadler will make his first start at Daytona International Speedway since the 2012 Daytona 500; he finished 27th with crash damage in that event.

Sadler will be driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing in a one-off entry. Not only did Sadler crash out of that race, he experienced crash damage in both 2010 efforts, which accounts for his last three starts.

JR Motorsports and Pinnacle Foods’ Armour brand, a JRM partner since 2014, have agreed to a multi-year partnership extension.

Armour will have primary branding in four races with Elliott Sadler and the No. 1 team in each of the next two NASCAR XFINITY Series seasons. In addition to primary races with Sadler and the No. 1 team at Bristol (Apr 22), Charlotte (May 27), Daytona (Jun 30) and Darlington (Sep 2), Kasey Kahne will carry Armour colors with the No. 88 entry at Talladega (May 6) in 2017. The brand will also receive associate placement on William Byron’s No. 9 entry and JRM team cars in the 2017 and 2018 seasons.-JRM

Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) announced today that the team will compete in the 59th running of the Daytona 500 with Elliott Sadler behind the wheel of the No.7 Golden Corral Chevrolet.

Sadler, a 16-year veteran of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, will be running double-duty during NASCAR's opening weekend competing in both the Cup and XFINITY Series. The Emporia, VA native and Baldwin have a relationship dating back to their days at Robert Yates Racing when Baldwin served as crew chief for Sadler. Golden Corral returns for their seventh season together and will bring back their popular 'Top 10 Kids Eat Free' promotion. If Elliott Sadler finishes in the top-10 at Daytona, kids 10 and under will eat free at Golden Corral restaurants nationwide on Monday, February 27th.-140 BUZZ

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Financial Chevrolet) enters the weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) as one of the four eligible drivers to win the inaugural NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Chase.

Sadler has 10 NXS starts at HMS and has one top five along with four top-10 finishes. In 10 races at 1.5-mile tracks this season, Sadler has one win (Kentucky), four top-five and 9 top-10 finishes. JR Motorsports race operations manager Mike Bumgarner will serve as crew chief of the No. 1 OneMain Financial team this Saturday at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway as driver Elliott Sadler vies for the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship.

Bumgarner will fill the role normally occupied by Kevin Meendering. Meendering is serving a one-race suspension as it was determined last Saturday at Phoenix International Raceway that two lugnuts were not satisfactorily fastened to the No. 1 car at the end of the Ticket Galaxy 200. NASCAR announced the infraction and penalty following the event. "We let Kevin ultimately make this decision because it’s his team," said general manager Kelley Earnhardt Miller. "Kevin chose Mike to sit in the crew chief’s seat and for good reason – he is experienced atop the pit box and very dependable. We have a great deal of confidence in Mike to give Elliott his best opportunity to win on Saturday."-JR Motorsports

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Chevrolet Camaro) finished 13th in Saturday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Ticket Galaxy 200 at Phoenix Int’l Raceway in Avondale, AZ.

He started 10th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Sadler is ranked second in the point standings after this event and moves on to the season-ending Championship 4 round next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, seeded #2, to compete for the 2016 NXS Championship.

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Financial Chevrolet Camaro) enters this weekend second in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) point standings, just one point back from leader Daniel Suarez heading into the cutoff race for the Championship 4.

The Virginia native has 15 NXS starts at Phoenix International Raceway with one win (2012), four top-five and eight top-10 finishes. Sadler is the only current full-time NXS regular with a win at the Arizona track. He has amassed three wins, 13 top fives and a series-leading 28 top-10 finishes in 31 races this season. He started eighth on the grid and completed all of the 200 laps run. Sadler, who was the leader in this round of the Chase for the 2016 NXS championship, slipped one spot to second after this event, 1 point behind new leader Daniel Suarez.

In six NXS starts at Kansas Speedway, Sadler owns two top-five and four top-10 finishes, with a best finish of third (2011). The Emporia, Va. native recorded one win, three top-five and seven top-10 finishes on 1.5-mile tracks this season. With four races left in 2016, Sadler has already surpassed his previous career best of 25 top-10s in a single season (2014). Elliott Sadler is locked in to the second round of the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Chase and is currently second in the NXS point standings, just two points behind leader Daniel Suarez.

In 19 NXS starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS), the Virginia native has four top-five and eight top-10 finishes. Sadler’s best finish of second at CMS came in 2005. Sadler leads all NXS regulars in 2016 with 25 top-10 finishes and an average finish of 7.0. The No. 1 OneMain Chevy will feature a pink paint scheme in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and its hood will be adorned with 163 names of people affected by breast cancer.
