Dennis Setzer does not qualify for the Camping World Truck Series SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway.

He is one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed. He ran a 33rd fastest lap in the No. 38 truck. This was not good enough to make the 36-truck field.

The No. 42 team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. His qualifying speed was 46th fastest and not good enough to make the cut for the event.

Dennis Setzer’s qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.

He ran a lap of 164.725 mph in the Jay Robinson No. 48. It was 41st quickest but not quick enough to make the field for the event.

His average of 172.894 mph in the Jay Robinson No. 48 was best of the 8 cars that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 89 Morgan Shepherd, 2-Elliott Sadler, 03-Scott Riggs and 22-Brad Keselowski were the rest of the top 5 on this list.

The team is outside the top 35 in owners points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s Cup race. The No. 92 driver’s qualifying speed was 45th fastest and was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

Dennis Setzer makes the most improvement in the Nationwide Series after this weekend’s race.

His 18th place finish in the Bucyrus 200 was 25 places better than his last NNS finish. This earned the No. 70 driver a $2,400 check and the Featherlite "Most Improved Driver" award. Setzer, who made 12 of the 16 races so far this season, moved up 1 spot to 26th in the 2011 Nationwide Series point standings.

Brian Keselowski will undergo gall bladder surgery as early as today the team announced Thursday.

Keselowski went to a hospital Tuesday night and was diagnosed with gallstones. Also the owner of the No. 92 team, Keselowski has asked longtime friend and driver Dennis Setzer to fill in while he takes at least two weeks to recover. Setzer, who drove for the Keselowski family-owned team in the Truck Series from 1998-2000, drove for Brian Keselowski last year in the Nationwide Series.-SceneDaily.com

Dennis Setzer and the No. 92 team win the O’Reilly Auto Parts award in the Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts award is presented to the eligible driver who improves the most positions from their starting position (36th) to their finishing position (12th). Setzer, who made 8 of the 16 races so far this season, moved up 4 spots to 28th in the 2010 NCWTS point standings.
