He started the No. 28 Dodge 18th on the grid for the enjoyillinois.com 300. He is currently 16th in the 2014 Nationwide Series championship standings.

JJ Yeley is set to make his third start on one of NASCAR Sprint Cup’s flat tracks this week. His previous best finish in 2014 was a 38th on the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway.

In the Pocono 400 Yeley improved two positions over his effort in Richmond’s Toyota Owners 400. Steady improvement is encouraging, but it will take a while before fantasy players consider placing him on their roster.

He started the No. 28 Dodge 22nd on the grid for the Gardner Denver 200. He advanced two spots to 15th in the 2014 NNS point standings.

J.J. Yeley’s qualifying speed in the No. 44 Chevrolet SS was not good enough to make the field for the Sprint Cup Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Based on NASCAR's time trial procedure, upon completion of the first round of qualifying, the 43 eligible cars for starting positions 1-43 is determined. His car was listed as 44th on the chart.

Swan Racing announced it has successfully restructured the company by finding solutions for the No. 26 and No. 30 teams in an attempt to save the jobs of the crews, the drivers, and to keep those teams competing throughout the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

The No. 30 team has been sold to John Cohen of XxxTreme Motorsports, which will operate the team going forward and intends to compete with veteran driver J.J. Yeley. He ran a 47th fastest lap in the No. 44 Chevrolet in the first qualifying round. This was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

Xxxtreme Motorsport announced today renewed efforts to their Sprint Cup Series program and the 2014 NASCAR season.

Beginning at Las Vegas on March 9, Xxxtreme Motorsport will set out to compete full-time with J.J. Yeley as their new driver. Yeley finished 32nd in points last season and will embark on his 10th year of NSCS competition. Compiling one pole, eight top 10 and two top five finishes in his short career, Yeley will pilot the team's signature No. 44 Chevrolet. Walter Giles will remain the team's crew chief while a sponsor will be announced before The Profit on CNBC 500 at Phoenix.-140 BUZZ

He is one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed. He ran a 38th fastest lap in the No. 46. This was not fast enough to make the 40-car field.

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety (DOHS) is back on board the No. 36 "Drive Sober, Arrive Alive" Chevrolet at Dover International Speedway.

Driver JJ Yeley commented, "It is great to be heading back to Dover International Speedway and teaming up with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety once again. C&C Audio, Video, and Appliances joins Tommy Baldwin Racing for a four race deal as an associate sponsor on the No. 36 Chevy of J.J. Yeley.

In addition to their four race sponsorship, C&C is giving away two tickets to the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. The giveaway will include two hot passes, hotel accommodations for two nights and round-trip transportation to and from the track.
