JJ Yeley’s blown engine in the Duck Commander 500 was the first DNF (Did Not Finish) for the No. 23 team this season.
Their previous five results on unrestricted speedways ended between 26th and 37th. They also had a 40th in the Daytona 500, but were running at the end of that race. The best way to improve in NASCAR is to complete events. Apr 15 - 7:51 PM

J.J. Yeley finishes 19th in Friday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota 20th on the grid for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300. He completed 199 laps of the 200 lap race. He is currently 14th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

JJ Yeley has finished in the 30s in his last four starts on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks driving for BK Racing. The smart money is that he will land in that same range this Sunday at Texas.

Yeley had one top-30 in the No. 83 at Kansas, but that was only a 29th and he was five laps off the pace. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on him, but starting him is not recommended until he climbs higher in the standings on a regular basis.
Apr 10 - 9:30 AM

Since finishing 40th in the Daytona 500, JJ Yeley has shown progressive improvement in the No. 23 BK Racing entry. He has been running at the end of every race and his last four attempts ended in results that were better than his starting position.

Yeley finished in the 30s from Atlanta through Auto Club, but he nearly cracked the top 25 at Martinsville in the STP 500. He finished 26th there, three laps off the pace.
Apr 2 - 11:56 AM

This week JJ Yeley will make his first spring Martinsville attempt since 2013. He finished 27th in that event driving a Tommy Baldwin Racing car.

Yeley has made two fall starts since then, but last year he managed to finish only 39th in the BK Racing No. 83. He should fare better this week, but it is unlikely to be enough to make him a great value in most fantasy games.

He started the No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota 23rd on the grid for the Drive4Clots.com 300. He completed 149 laps of the 150 lap race. He is currently 14th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.
Mar 22 - 9:13 PM

JJ Yeley will make his first Auto Club start since 2011 this week. The last time he was there, he finished 27th, one lap off the pace, in the No. 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing car.

Yeley will be in similar equipment this week. Most of his efforts in 2015 have landed in the 30s, but with a strong background on this track he could be considered a dark horse to score a top-30.
Mar 19 - 10:09 PM

J.J. Yeley will be making his 10th NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Auto Club Speedway to go along with his 11 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the track.

He has one top-10 finish in XFINITY Series competition which was a seventh place effort in the 2006 event at the Fontana, California track. J.J. started 14th and finished 19th in this event last year which was his second start for JGL Racing. He will pilot Chassis No. 233 in the Drive4Clots.com 300, the same car he drove a few weeks ago in Atlanta where he brought it home to a 16th place finish.-Integrity Sports Marketing

He started the No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Toyota 24th on the grid for the Axalta 200. He completed 197 laps of the 200 lap race. He is currently 15th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.
Mar 14 - 9:55 PM

J.J. Yeley (No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota) will be making his 11th NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Phoenix International Raceway to go along with his 12 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and one start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the track.

He has three top-10 finishes in XFINITY Series competition along with a best finish of sixth which came during the 2006 event. Yeley made his mark at Phoenix in the prestigious Copper World Classic, where he scored back-to-back wins in 2004 and 2005 driving a USAC Midget. Those races were just two of the 11 United States Auto Club events Yeley has competed in at Phoenix. He also made his first Indy Car start at the track in the desert in 1998.
Mar 11 - 8:45 PM

JJ Yeley finished 30th last fall in his only start with BK Racing. He was driving the part time No. 83 at the time.

It can be a little difficult to handicap drivers who move from ride to ride, so this is his most reliable result. Yeley also has a pair of high-20s finishes with Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2013, so his most likely result is somewhere in the 30s.
Mar 11 - 7:40 PM

J.J. Yeley finishes 16th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota Camry 27th on the grid for the Boyd Gaming 300. He completed 199 laps of the 200 lap race. Yeley moved up two spots to 14th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.
Mar 8 - 12:44 PM

JJ Yeley’s 34th-place finish in the Folds of Honor Quik Trip 500 was the third time in his last three attempts that the driver finished in the 30s on a similarly-configured, 1.5-mile track. All three starts came with BK Racing.

His best run in that span was a 31st at Texas last fall when he finished within three laps of the leader. Fantasy owners can expect a result in the mid-30s range, which will only make him a good value if he qualifies at the back of the pack.
Mar 4 - 1:47 PM

J.J. Yeley will be making his eighth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to go along with his six starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the track. He has one top-10 finish in XFINITY Series competition which came during the 2006 event.

Last year J.J. finished 21st in his debut performance for JGL Racing. This weekend he will pilot Chassis No. 217, the same car he last ran in the 2014 season ending event at Homestead- Miami Speedway where he qualified 17th and finished 16th.-Integrity Sports Marketing
