Making his first start of the 2014 season in the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry, Jeff Green is ready to tackle the Monster Mile this weekend at Dover International Speedway.

With over 35 starts in Dover, between the Sprint Cup Series and the Nationwide Series, Green is more than prepared to race on Saturday. Green has one win, five top 5's, eight top 10's and one pole win on the concrete oval. He also has an average start of 17.2 and an average finish of 22.0.-TriStar Motorsports NC

Earlier this season, Team McClure, Inc. announced that former series champion Jeff Green would pilot the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry for select races in the 2014 season.

The schedule has since been finalized and Green will first take the seat during the Buckle Up 200 Presented by Click It or Ticket at Dover Int'l Speedway on May 31. He will then pilot the car at Michigan Int'l Speedway on June 14, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on August 16 and Richmond Int'l Raceway on September 5. His last event is scheduled to be on September 27 at Dover Int'l Raceway.-TriStar Motorsports NC

Jeff Green will once again return to the driver seat of the No. 14 Camry for Friday night’s prime time event at Richmond Int’l Raceway.

This will mark Green’s 46th start at the Virginia short track. Of the 45 races Green has participated in at RIR, 24 of them came while driving in the Nationwide Series. In those NNS starts, the Owensboro, KY native has one win, four top-five and six top-10 finishes. He’s completed 4,079 laps and has an average finish of 24.

Of the teams required to make the field on speed, his lap of 177.189 mph in the No. 10 Toyota was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 18th in the lineup for the Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.

The No. 19 team is outside the top 35 in owners points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s Cup race. His qualifying speed was 44th fastest, which was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

He ran a 45th fastest lap in the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 Chevrolet. As one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed this was not good enough to make the 43-car field.

The No. 44 team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. His qualifying speed of 160.081 mph, 37th fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

The No. 44 driver’s lap of 177.907 mph was 34th fastest in qualifying for the the Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He will line up 43rd at the green flag.

One of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, he ran a 44th fastest lap in the MAX Q Motorsports No. 37. This was not good enough to make the 43-car field.
