Todd Bodine's won more than half of his 22 career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' victories on 1.5-mile tracks, but never at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Ironically, Bodine has owned Charlotte's sister track, Texas Motor Speedway, where he's won six times. So after a four-week break for the Truck Series and with Mattei Air Compressors' signage gracing his No. 13 ThorSport Racing Toyota for the second time this season, Bodine figures there's no time like the present to add to his 12 career victories on 1.5-mile tracks.-ThorSport Racing May 16 - 9:53 AM

Todd Bodine has a winning history at Rockingham Speedway.

His first two races this season with ThorSport Racing gives him the anticipation that a victory is right around the next left-hand turn. Bodine has a good feeling about Sunday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' second annual Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine. Bodine has 35 career starts at Rockingham across NASCAR's three national tours, with two Busch Series wins, the predecessor of the Nationwide Series, in 1995 and 2001, 11 top-10 starts and 13 top-10 finishes.-ThorSport Racing

Todd Bodine, who won the 2008 and 2009 NCWTS season openers while driving for Germain Racing -- the same organization with which Bodine won Truck Series championships in 2006 and 2010 -- debuts this weekend in ThorSport's No. 13 Mattei Air Compressors Toyota.

In eight Daytona Truck Series starts has an average start of ninth and an average finish of fifth. There's no question winning a third Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona would put Bodine in select all-time company at Daytona. As it is, in the 14 previous editions of the race, Bodine is the only two-time winner.-ThorSport Racing

Two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Todd Bodine will run the season-opening NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway in a No. 13 Toyota Tundra fielded by ThorSport Racing.

Multiple sources say the deal is for one race only, and includes horsepower from Triad Racing Technologies. Sponsorship will come from Mattei Air Compressors. Bodine will work with crew chief Jeriod Prince, who will do double duty at Daytona, overseeing both Bodine’s effort and ThorSport’s No. 44 Ansell/Menards ARCA Toyota Camry for nine-time series champion Frank Kimmel.

Two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Todd Bodine appears to be out of a ride at Red Horse Racing.

Multiple sources say the team laid-off a number of employees today, with plans to field only two full-time Truck Series Toyotas next season. Bodine, the 2006 and 2010 NCWTS champion, finished 14th in the 2012 championship standings with one win – at Dover on June 1 – along with five Top-5 and seven Top-10 finishes. He appears to be the odd-man-out at Red Horse Racing, with his No. 7 machine set to be parked due to a lack of sponsorship. Peters, who finished second behind champion James Buescher, and John Wes Townley, who brings sponsorship from the family-owned Zaxby’s fast food chain, will drive the team’s No. 17 and 7 Toyotas in 2013.

Todd Bodine will head to the 2012 NCWTS season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday, November 16, with a new paint scheme covering his No. 11 Toyota Tundra.

He will represent the Tundra Endeavour Project, an event that showcased the power of the 2012 Tundra Crewmax pickup when it towed the space shuttle "Endeavour". The Tundra towed the 292,000-pound shuttle and its custom tow dolly across a Los Angeles freeway bridge en route to the California Science Center, where it was placed on permanent display on October 13, 2012. Bodine's Toyota Tundra will have a unique paint scheme featuring graphics of the Endeavour.-Red Horse Racing

With four restrictor plate victories to his credit, Todd Bodine has proven he knows how to make the right moves to claim the trophy at superspeedways.

He is the only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular competing this weekend to claim a win at the 2.66-mile track. Coming off of a top-five finish last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Bodine has momentum and the confidence in the same Toyota Tundra he raced to a sixth place finish with at Daytona in February on his side for the 250-lap main event on Saturday.-Red Horse Racing

In seven previous NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Michigan, Todd Bodine has produced five top-10 finishes, and has completed 100 percent of the laps in every event.

For this Saturday's VFW 200, crew chief Rick Gay has prepared one of the most consistent Tundras Bodine has driven all season, with hopes to get back to the front and rebound from a tough break at Pocono. Bodine's solid run came to a crashing halt on lap 38 as he was sent into the inside retaining wall and knocked out of contention. He ended the afternoon in the garage, bringing home a 26th place finish.-Red Horse Racing
