T.J. Bell’s qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the Nationwide Series Nationwide Childrens Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

He ran a lap of 89.405 mph in the No. 42 Chevrolet. It was 39th quickest but not quick enough to make the field for the race.

He is one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed. He ran a 34th fastest lap in the No. 1 truck. This was not good enough to make the 36-truck field.

The No. 50 driver’s lap of 172.761 mph was 38th fastest in qualifying for the the Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. He will line up 43rd at the green flag.

T.J. Bell will miss the Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The No. 50 team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. His qualifying speed of 172.905 mph, 40th fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

The MAKE Motorsports #50 and T.J. Bell will be carrying a special honor on the car for victims of the recent shooting near the campus of Auburn University. The car will be sporting an orange ribbon on the roof beside TJ's name in honor of the victims and the entire Auburn University Community.

MAKE Motorsports' No. 50 Chevy will be competing for the Nationwide Series championship with driver T.J. Bell and crew chief Brad Parrott.

The team has been participating in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series since 2010 and did a partial NNS season in 2011. Bell has been with the team since 2010 and Parrott since 2011. "We're not going to be a start-and-park deal, but going for the whole season and race as hard as we can," said Beaver. Additional announcements, including the team's 2012 partner lineup, will be released later this week.

Bell, one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, ran a 45th fastest lap in the TRG Motorsports No. 77. This was not good enough to make the 43-car field.
