Marcos Ambrose will debut the colors of Black and Decker this weekend on the Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) No. 9 Ford Fusion.

Ambrose has three previous starts at Kentucky with RPM. The track has proved to be one his best ovals on qualifying day with an average start inside the Top-10. His best start is fifth just last season. He has completed every lap he's ever raced at Kentucky and has a pair of Top-15 finishes. Ambrose's best finish at Kentucky is 13th.-Breaking Limits

Since 1993 (when Richard became sole owner), over a dozen drivers have raced full-time for "The King." While racing for Petty, Ambrose has two wins, three poles, 10 Top-Five and 28 Top-10 finishes. His number of wins equal that of the late Bobby Hamilton and Kasey Kahne. His Top-10 finish mark is only behind Hamilton by one while driving for Petty. NASCAR has penalized drivers Marcos Ambrose and Casey Mears for their involvement in a post-race altercation in the garage area following last Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway.

Ambrose, driver of the No. 9 car, and Mears, driver of the No. 13 car, were found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing), and 12-4.9 (Behavioral Penalty; involved in an altercation in the garage area after the race) as outlined in the 2014 NASCAR rule book. As a result, Ambrose has been fined $25,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until May 28, while Mears has been fined $15,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until May 28.-NASCAR PR

If Ambrose earns his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory, STANLEY will donate $1 million to the Children's Miracle Network through the Ace Hardware Foundation to benefit sick and injured children. If Ambrose finishes second or third, a donation of $500,000 and $250,000 will be made respectively.
