In addition to winning the race, Cale Gale’s team won three contingency race awards in the Camping World Truck Series Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Gale won the $1,500 Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award and the Sunoco "Rookie of the Race" award. Earnhardt Childress Racing Engines, supplier of the engine in the No. 33 Chevrolet, won the $1,900 Mahle Clevite Engine Builder of the Race award. Cale Gale won the Ford EcoBoost 200, his first victory in 32 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.

This is the No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado driver's eighth top-10 finish in 2012. Gale is the record-extending 16th different winner in 2012. He is also the ninth different first-time winner this season, also a series record. This was also his first time racing in any series at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Gale ends the season 12th in the 2012 NCWTS point standings.

Cale Gale will make his first start at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday, Nov. 16.

The rookie contender has attended races at the mile-and-a-half oval in Homestead, Fla., but has never competed at the speedway. Gale has scored seven top-10 finishes this season and is ranked 12th in driver points and 14th in owner points. The No. 33 truck driver started fourth and finished seventh. This was ahead of the rest of the 2012 Rookie of the Year contenders. Gale is currently 12th in the 2012 Camping World Truck Series point standings.

Cale Gale will make his first start at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday, Nov. 9.

The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender has attended races at the one-mile oval in Avondale, Ariz., but has never driven on the circuit and has not been to the track since it was reconfigured in 2011. Gale, who grew up racing on short tracks, has one pole and a pair of top-five finishes at tracks one-mile or less during the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season. Cale Gale will make his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, Nov. 2.

Earlier this season, Gale rolled off 16th at the 1.5-mile track after rain cancelled qualifying and altered the practice schedule. With flawless pit stops, solid restarts and a good strategy, the No. 33 ESR team raced to an eighth-place finish. Cale Gale will make his third career NCWTS start at the historic Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 27.

In the spring race, Gale qualified in the fourth position and ran inside the top 10 all afternoon. While running sixth with less than 10 laps remaining, the Rheem Chevrolet suffered a flat tire and forced Gale down pit road for a four-tire stop resulting in a 15th-place finish. Cale Gale will return to his home state of Alabama to compete at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon.

Gale grew up just 250 miles south of the speedway in Mobile, Ala., and cut his teeth on short tracks across the state. Gale will make his second career NCWTS start at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, Oct. 6. In his last NCWTS race at NASCAR's longest track, Gale's Chevrolet lost its side window and was black-flagged by NASCAR. Gale had to come down pit road for his team to replace the window, and in the process went three laps down. After rolling off 19th in the October 2007 event, Gale was scored with a 22nd-place finish.-Eddie Sharp Racing

Cale Gale will make his second career start this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender competed in the Smith's 350 last fall when he rolled off 17th in the Rheem Chevrolet and finished the event in the 20th position after his Silverado suffered race-ending damage in a lap 120 accident.
