After starting eighth and 11th, respectively, in Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-East (NKNPSE) WhosYourDriver.org twin 100-lap races at South Boston (VA) Speedway, Peyton Sellers (No. 18 Toyota of Danville Toyota) scored ninth and eighth places finishes.

Peyton Sellers (No. 18 Danville Toyota Toyota) won the pole for the inaugural K&N Pro Series East race at South Boston in 2007.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national champion in 2005 while racing out of South Boston, he also won a track championship in the Late Model Stock division in 2014. Is the only driver entered this weekend to have previously competed in a series race at South Boston, having finished second in 2007 and third in 2008. Also, competed in two Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown events at his home track, in 2014 and 2015. Making his 2017 K&N Pro Series East debut.

NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Peyton Sellers will be making his 32nd NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start in Friday's Drive Sober 125 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway driving the No. 18 DRIVE Technology Toyota.

In two K&N East starts at Dover, he’s finished ninth (2007) and 18th (2008).

The (XFINITY Series) No. 97 team has been penalized for an infraction occurring during practice on May 29. It is a P3 level penalty (Sections 12.1 and 20.17.2.1b NASCAR rule book).

The car had an improperly attached weight that fell out of the car. Crew chief John Monsam has been fined $15,000, suspended from the next championship points race, and placed on NASCAR probation through Dec. 31. Car chief David Jones has been suspended from the next championship points race and placed on NASCAR probation through Dec. 31. He started the No. 97 Vroom Brands Chevrolet Camaro 32nd on the grid for the Buckle Up 200. He completed 193 laps of the 200-lap race. Sellers, who made nine of the 12 series races so far this season, is currently 25th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

In an 11th hour agreement, short track racing ace Peyton Sellers will drive Win-Tron Racing’s No. 35 Danville Toyota / Pembelton Forrest Products Toyota Tundra in Saturday’s Kroger 200 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

The pairing seems like a natural fit, as Win-Tron Racing hails from the short track ranks, while Sellers will compete at his hometown track, often dubbed as the paperclip. Sellers will make his third start at the 0.526-mile oval, while his Mooresville, North Carolina-based Win-Tron Racing team will do the same.Together, the pair hopes to make the best of what Sellers calls a "good situation," and deliver a top-10 finish in the penultimate short track race of the season.

Peyton Sellers will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for this weekend's Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Sellers will pilot the #60 N-FAB/Pembleton Forest Products/St. Lawrence Radiology Chevrolet Silverado for TurnOne Racing. This event marks Seller's first NCWTS start in 2012. Peyton Sellers will be returning to the driver’s seat in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend, piloting the No. 66 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing in Saturday afternoon’s Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125 at Pocono Raceway.

This will be the first time racing at Pocono Raceway for Sellers, a track that he has always wanted to compete on. It is not the first time Sellers has teamed up with Turn One Racing. Sellers raced the No. 64 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing last Fall at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
