Peyton Sellers will be returning to the driver’s seat in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend, piloting the No. 66 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing in Saturday afternoon’s Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125 at Pocono Raceway.

This will be the first time racing at Pocono Raceway for Sellers, a track that he has always wanted to compete on. It is not the first time Sellers has teamed up with Turn One Racing. Sellers raced the No. 64 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing last Fall at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Peyton Sellers is pleased to announce Brandt will be the primary sponsor on the No. 23 Chevrolet of R3 Motorsports for this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Gateway International Raceway.

Sellers, one of NASCAR’s up and coming drivers, will be making his first start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this year, and for the team.

Penalties have been issued to the crew chief, owner and driver for the No. 25 NASCAR Nationwide Series team at New Hampshire.

In addition to having the qualifying time disallowed for the No. 25 car, crew chief Paul Richmond has been fined $10,000 and suspended for the next four NNS events. Infractions against Sections 12-1; 12-4-J; 20A-15 and 20A-15.2C "gasoline must not be blended with alcohols, ethers, or other oxygenates..aniline or its derivatives, nitro compounds or other nitrogen-containing compounds" of the 2010 NNS Rule Book. Bert Sellers Jr. lost 50 NNS owner points while Peyton Sellers also was docked 50 NNS driver points. Sellers also missed the race since the car was not guaranteed a starting spot.

Peyton Sellers runs quickest Martinsville qualifying lap of the Camping World Truck Series go-or-go-homer drivers.

Of the drivers required to make the field on speed, Sellers’ lap of 94.214 mph in the No. 17 Danville Ready Mix/SFP Toyota Tundra was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 16th in the lineup for Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200.

Peyton Sellers - Turn One Racing-60-CWTS

Nearing the end of his first year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Peyton Sellers is going to bring it home – literally.

Sellers will run in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway on October 24th. The Danville, Virginia native will take to the half-mile track behind the wheel of the #17 Toyota with Premier Racing. Sellers is not new to Martinsville, having run there during his late model years. He finished third in the Bailey’s 300 there in 2005, considered among many to be the most prestigious late model race in the country.

Peyton Sellers failed to make the field for the October 16th Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Sellers, one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, ran a 45th fastest lap of 177.813 mph in the No. 77 Chevrolet. This was not good enough to make the 43-car field.

Peyton Sellers will make his debut Nationwide Series road course appearance this weekend at Watkins Glen.

The race was just recently added to the team’s schedule this year, bringing the Cardinal Motorsports total to 11 planned races. The rookie is no stranger to the 2.44 mile track, having run it in last year’s Camping World Series East race.

Peyton Sellers’ qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the August 1st Nationwide Series U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway.

Sellers ran a lap of 131.761 mph in the No. 77 SFP Chevrolet. It was 39th quickest but not quick enough to make the field for tonight’s race.

Cardinal Motorsports announced today that primary sponsor SFP is adding the famed Watkins Glen road course to the team’s schedule in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series.

The addition of Watkins Glen brings the total to 11 races for the new team and its driver, Peyton Sellers. Sellers has had an impressive first season in the series this year, qualifying for all races and most recently posting his first top fifteen finish at Milwaukee where he threw down some of the fastest lap times of the day. Watkins Glen will mark the team’s first road course this year.

With Peyton Sellers behind the wheel of the #77 SFP Chevrolet, Milwaukee’s NorthernTool.com 250 will mark the fifth of ten planned races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for Cardinal Motorsports.

Although the former Whelen All American National Champion has never run the track before, it will feel like an old friend. Sellers’ experience running short tracks across America has prepared him well for the legendary one mile long flat track.

Peyton Sellers - Turn One Racing-60-CWTS

NASCAR has indefinitely suspended Cardinal Motorsports crew member Richard Gray for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy, according to a news release issued Tuesday afternoon.

Gray, a member of the Nationwide Series crew for driver Peyton Sellers, was found to have violated the policy April 30, the day prior to the Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway. The team issued a statement indicating it had cut ties with Gray. "Cardinal Motorsports maintains a zero tolerance policy, and the crew member in question has been released from the No. 177 Nationwide Series team," the team said in its statement.

Peyton Sellers - Turn One Racing-60-CWTS

The clouds parted Friday night for the Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Raceway, and the many Peyton Sellers faithful that came to see their hometown hero in his first race there were soaking it all in.

Sellers finished the race without incident and in 19th place among the 43 car field. It was his first top 20 NASCAR Nationwide finish of his career, and only his second race in the series for the 2009 season. Sellers finished in 26th place at Texas Motor Speedway earlier this year. The team has a busy May planned, with upcoming races at both Charlotte and Dover.

Peyton Sellers will step into his No. 77 SFP Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway in one of NASCAR’s top series for the first of ten races this year.

Sellers is also part-owner in the (Cardinal Motorsports) team. The new team has spent the last few months preparing from the ground up, fielding their first official entry in the ARCA Re/Max race at Daytona in February. Sellers’ long-time Crew Chief and brother H. C. Sellers will be at his side again, and has been directing the efforts in the shop. - TheHotLap.com

Former Nationwide Series driver Ed Berrier, part owner of newly formed Cardinal Motorsports, plans to run a 10-15 race schedule in the 2009 N'wide Series with driver Peyton Sellers behind the wheel.

Sellers will pilot the No. 77 SFP Chevrolet with power coming from Earnhardt Childress engines. Sellers, the former Whelen All-American National Champion, finished the 2008 season with a series-high three poles, one win, five top fives and six top tens. His career record includes 30-plus wins and more than 50 poles at NASCAR-sanctioned tracks.
