The (XFINITY Series) No. 97 team has been penalized for an infraction occurring during practice on May 29. It is a P3 level penalty (Sections 12.1 and 20.17.2.1b NASCAR rule book).

In an 11th hour agreement, short track racing ace Peyton Sellers will drive Win-Tron Racing’s No. 35 Danville Toyota / Pembelton Forrest Products Toyota Tundra in Saturday’s Kroger 200 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

The pairing seems like a natural fit, as Win-Tron Racing hails from the short track ranks, while Sellers will compete at his hometown track, often dubbed as the paperclip. Sellers will make his third start at the 0.526-mile oval, while his Mooresville, North Carolina-based Win-Tron Racing team will do the same. Together, the pair hopes to make the best of what Sellers calls a "good situation," and deliver a top-10 finish in the penultimate short track race of the season.

Peyton Sellers will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for this weekend's Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Sellers will pilot the #60 N-FAB/Pembleton Forest Products/St. Lawrence Radiology Chevrolet Silverado for TurnOne Racing. This event marks Seller's first NCWTS start in 2012. Sellers, the 2005 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Champion, who was born and raised 30 minutes from the speedway in Danville, VA, will attempt to make his seventh career NCWTS start and his second series start at the 0.526-mile speedway.(Sellers Racing PR)-jayski.com

Peyton Sellers will be returning to the driver’s seat in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend, piloting the No. 66 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing in Saturday afternoon’s Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service 125 at Pocono Raceway.

This will be the first time racing at Pocono Raceway for Sellers, a track that he has always wanted to compete on. It is not the first time Sellers has teamed up with Turn One Racing. Sellers raced the No. 64 SkillsUSA Chevrolet for Turn One Racing last Fall at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Penalties have been issued to the crew chief, owner and driver for the No. 25 NASCAR Nationwide Series team at New Hampshire.

In addition to having the qualifying time disallowed for the No. 25 car, crew chief Paul Richmond has been fined $10,000 and suspended for the next four NNS events. Infractions against Sections 12-1; 12-4-J; 20A-15 and 20A-15.2C "gasoline must not be blended with alcohols, ethers, or other oxygenates..aniline or its derivatives, nitro compounds or other nitrogen-containing compounds" of the 2010 NNS Rule Book. Bert Sellers Jr. lost 50 NNS owner points while Peyton Sellers also was docked 50 NNS driver points. Sellers also missed the race since the car was not guaranteed a starting spot.

Peyton Sellers runs quickest Martinsville qualifying lap of the Camping World Truck Series go-or-go-homer drivers.

Of the drivers required to make the field on speed, Sellers’ lap of 94.214 mph in the No. 17 Danville Ready Mix/SFP Toyota Tundra was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 16th in the lineup for Saturday’s Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200.
