Tayler Malsam has the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in Happy Hour practice for the Camping World Truck Series Careers for Veterans 200 at Michigan International Speedway.

The average speed of 183.181 mph in the No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado was best of the five trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 51 Kyle Busch (183.087 mph), No. 88 Matt Crafton (182.384), No. 31 Ben Kennedy (182.079) and No. 20 Austin Dillon (181.548) are the rest on this list.

Tayler Malsam returns to the No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet for an afternoon of racing at Michigan International Speedway.

Malsam will make his second-career NCWTS start at Michigan after nearly scoring a top-five finish in his track debut in 2009, ultimately finishing sixth. This week's Silverado: Having only seen the track once this year at Charlotte, TSM-605 made its debut last season at the fall race at Texas Motor Speedway, where it claimed the pole, followed by a third-place finish at the NCWTS finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Having one previous NCWTS start at Iowa Speedway, along with three NASCAR Nationwide Series starts, Tayler Malsam hopes his prior experience will help him as the No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet makes its sixth start this season.

Having two previous NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) starts at Kentucky Speedway, Tayler Malsam will make his second-career NCWTS start on Thursday night in the No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet.

Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. and the No. 32 TSM team will unload a familiar chassis this weekend in Sparta, Ky. Driven to a top-10 finish at Kansas Speedway by Malsam in his 2014 debut, TSM-602 was also successful on the NCWTS circuit last year, having claimed one pole and a top-10 finish at Kentucky Speedway.-TSM

He started the No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado 18th in the lineup for the Drivin' for Linemen 200. Malsam, who made four of the seven races so far this season, is currently 22nd in the 2014 NCWTS point standings.

Tayler Malsam and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will make their grand return to Gateway Motorsports Park this weekend for the Drivin' For Linemen 200.

This race will mark Malsam's fourth of twelve scheduled NCWTS races for Turner Scott Motorsports this season in the No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet. Unlike the majority of the field, Malsam competed at the St. Louis track in 2010, claiming a top-five finish, the best of his season, in his NCWTS track debut along with a top 20 in his NASCAR Nationwide Series start at the 1.25-mile oval.-Turner Scott Motorsports

The 25-year-old Seattle, Washington native will pilot the No. 32 truck in 12 NCWTS events this season and will make his third-career start at the Midwest track this weekend. After a 26-race relationship, TriStar Motorsports officials on Wednesday announced that they have agreed to part ways with Tayler Malsam.

The decision ends a relationship that saw Malsam drive the No. 19 G-Oil Toyota to 13th in the Nationwide Series standings. In his 26 starts this season for TriStar, Malsam scored his best finish of sixth in the season opener at Daytona. Malsam has completed 95.3 percent of the laps this season. The No. 19 car is 19th in owners' points.

Seattle area native Tayler Malsam, 22, got his first laps aboard the #19 G-Oil Toyota during a day-long recent test at the Walt Disney World Speedway in Orlando. TriStar Motorsports team owner Mark Smith, a 30-year NASCAR veteran, is a key part of the G-Oil program. In addition to his three-car NASCAR Nationwide team, Smith is the owner of Pro Motor Engines a leading builder of race engines for all three NASCAR series.-jayski.com

Tayler Malsam secures the last qualifying slot open to teams outside of the top 25 in owners points for the Camping World Truck Series race.

His lap of 168.192 mph in the No. 25 truck was 30th fastest in qualifying. He will line up 36th for the Too Tough to Tame 200.
