Jeremy Clements Racing (JCR) announced that the team will run full time in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series, with Jeremy Clements driving the No. 51 Chevrolet.

The 2014 season will mark the fourth full time season for both JCR and Jeremy Clements. Clements closed out the 2013 season 16th in the point standings, with 2 top 10 finishes at Talladega and Mid-Ohio. Ricky Pearson will return as crew chief for his fourth NNS season with JCR. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, JCR is going PINK this weekend.

JCR is also excited to announce an alliance with JD Motorsports to run the No. 51 Flex Seal Chevrolet in the Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kansas Recap: Jeremy qualified 24th with a speed of 179.450. On lap 77 Jeremy reported to crew chief Ricky Pearson that he had smoke in the car. The issue turned out to be a bad valve in the engine. This marked the end to Jeremy’s day, resigning him and the JCR Team to a 36th place finish. The early to end to the race hurt Jeremy in the driver point standings as well, pushing him back to 16th.

NASCAR has reinstated driver Jeremy Clements upon the successful completion of stipulations following his indefinite suspension from NASCAR on Feb. 27 for violating the sanctioning body’s Code of Conduct policy.

Clements will be on NASCAR probation until Sept. 13, 2013. "As part of the requirements for reinstatement, Jeremy Clements participated in an individualized program with Dr. Richard Lapchick and his staff at the National Consortium for Academics and Sports," said Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR senior vice president of racing operations. "In Dr. Lapchick and his staff’s judgment, Jeremy has successfully completed the program. We’re pleased that Jeremy has taken these important steps and will return to racing starting this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway."-NASCAR PR

Jeremy Clements, a driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body’s Code of Conduct.

On Feb. 23 at Daytona, Clements was found to have violated Sections 7-5 (NASCAR’s Code of Conduct) and 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing). "During the course of an interview, Jeremy Clements made an intolerable and insensitive remark," said Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR senior vice president of racing operations. "NASCAR has a Code of Conduct that’s explicitly spelled out in the 2013 NASCAR Rule Book. We fully expect our entire industry to adhere to that Code."-NASCAR PR

His 16th place finish in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge was 19 places better than his last NNS finish. This earned the No. 51 Chevrolet driver a $2,600 check and the Featherlite "Most Improved Driver" award. Clements is 14th in the 2012 Nationwide Series point standings.
