Parker Kligerman won the Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award at Fontana in the Nationwide Series.
The award is given to the winner of the race or the next-highest finishing driver displaying the Mobil 1 decal. The driver of the No. 77 Toyota Camry earned the award for his fourth place finish in the Nationwide Series Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway. Bandit Industries has signed a seven-race NASCAR sponsorship with Parker Kligerman, driving the number 77 Toyota for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Bandit will serve as the primary sponsor for Kligerman for two races, including the first Nationwide Series race of 2013—the DRIVE4COPD 300 on February 23 at Daytona. Bandit will be a co-primary sponsor for three races and an associate sponsor for two races. The current race schedule will have Bandit, Kligerman and KBM racing at Bristol on March 16, Texas on April 12, Talladega on May 4, Michigan on June 15, Kentucky on June 29, and back to Daytona on July 6.

Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced that Eric Phillips has been promoted to the position of crew chief for the No. 77 Camry team with driver Parker Kligerman in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the 2013 season.

Since joining KBM for its inaugural Truck Series season in 2010, Phillips has guided the No. 18 team to 17 victories, 8 poles, 2,243 laps led, 38 top-five and 54 top-10 finishes across 72 starts. Under his guidance, KBM became the first team since the Truck Series originated in 1995 to capture the owner’s championship in its inaugural season and led the series in wins in each of its first two seasons.

Kyle Busch Motorsports announced the signing of 22-year-old Parker Kligerman to compete for the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series driver’s championship.

Kligerman will pilot the No. 77 Toyota Camry for the entirety of the 33-race schedule. Kligerman comes to KBM’s Nationwide Series program on the heels of a breakout season in 2012. In his second full-time Camping World Truck Series campaign, the talented youngster earned his first career NASCAR victory at Talladega, captured two pole awards and collected eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes en route to a fifth-place finish in the final Truck Series driver’s point standings.

Parker Kligerman won the Keystone Light Pole Award for the 17th Annual Ford EcoBoost 200 with a lap of 31.986 seconds, 168.824 mph.

This is the No. 7 Toyota Tundra driver's second pole in 48 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races. It is his second pole and 11th top-10 start in 2012. This is Kligerman's his pole in two races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Parker Kligerman will return to the place of his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start when the series rolls into Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the WinStar World Casino 350.

Scoring a top-10 finish in that first start and following up with solid finishes at the 1.5-mile oval after that, Kligerman is ready to continue his battle for the championship on Friday. On the heels of his first career NCWTS victory at Talladega Superspeedway two weeks ago, Parker Kligerman travels to Martinsville Speedway this Saturday with his No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota team for the Kroger 200.

Entering the Virginia short track as the most recent series winner, Kligerman will have a little extra momentum on his side. Kligerman's most recent appearance at Martinsville Speedway earlier this season produced his best finish at the track to date, as he was scored in 11th place when he crossed the finish line. This is the No. 7 Toyota Tundra driver's 12th top-10 finish in 2012 and his first top-10 finish in two races at Talladega Superspeedway. This win today is Kligerman's first NASCAR national series victory. He moved up one spot to fourth in the 2012 NCWTS point standings.

At 177.456 mph in the No. 7 Toyota, he was the fastest of the 33 trucks out on the track for the final practice. No. 13 Johnny Sauter, No. 31 James Buescher, No. 33 Cale Gale and No. 32 Miguel Paludo were the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. No. 27 Travis Miller was the slowest.

Parker Kligerman won the Keystone Light Pole award in the Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway.

His lap of 137.507 mph in the No. 7 Toyota Tundra was good enough to earn the $2,300 award. Kligerman led the most laps (107 of 200) but finished in 23rd, 3 laps down, due to a spin late in the race. He is currently fourth in the 2012 NCWTS point standings.
