Finished fourth in the final standings last season with one win, six top fives and eight top 10s in 10 races. It was his third consecutive finish inside the top five in the final standings. Won the season opener and the most recent race at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, NC in April and now has four wins, a record 13 poles, 23 top fives and 41 top 10s in 56 career Caraway starts. Was the NWSMT’s inaugural event pole sitter at Caraway, and won the second-ever race there on April 9, 2005.

Burt Myers, who recorded only two wins in his previous 53 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour starts at Caraway Speedway, was able to hold off his brother Jason on a green-white-checkered finish to score his second straight win at the track.

Danny Bohn won the Coors Light Pole Award and led the first six laps of the race before Burt Myers was able to get past him. Burt held a slight lead over Jason after they took the white flag as Bryan Dauzat spun in Turn 3 ending the race. Bohn came home third with Andy Seuss and George Brunnhoelzl III completing the top five.

Burt Myers beat pole-sitter Danny Bohn on the restart of the green-white-checkered flag finish and powered to victory in the Davis Roofing 150 at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, NC.

It was the 17th NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour triumph overall for Myers and his third at the venerable .455-mile oval. Bobby Measmer Jr. was also able to get by Bohn in the final circuit for second place, his best career finish. Bohn, Jason Myers and two-time defending tour titlist Andy Seuss rounded out the top five. Brendon Bock, George Brunnhoelzl III, Jeff Goodale, Richie Pallai Jr. and Jeremy Gerstner completed the top 10.

Burt Myers (No. 1 Remington SCT/Citrusafe/Speedway Auto Actn. Ford) finished fifth in the October 8th NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour season-ending Southern Slam 150 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway quarter-mile oval in Concord, NC.

He started third in the lineup and completed all laps of the 160-lap event. Myers, who has competed in all of the season's 10 races, scored one win (April 11 at Langley Speedway), six top-fives, eight top-10s and finished fourth in the final 2015 NWSMT driver championship standings.
