In Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-East (KNPSE) Who's Your Driver Twin 100s at South Boston (VA) Speedway, Ruben Garcia Jr. (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Toyota) was credited with two DNF's.
In the first race he started in 10th place, completed 25 laps of the 100-lapper but was credited with a 12th place DNF (Accident). In the second race, he started eighth, completed 37 laps of the 100 laps run and was credited with a 15th place DNF due to mechanical issues. Rubén García Jr. (No. 88 Farmacias del Ahorro/Hdi Toyota) won the pole for Sunday's NASCAR Peak Mexico Series Chedraui 120 at Autódromo del Ecocentro de la Unión Ganadera in Querétaro, Mexico but will have to drop to the rear for the green flag.

After qualifying, an inspection found an improper air hose running to the carburetor of his Toyota. This would give an advantage in horsepower. His penalty is starting the race at the rear of the field instead of leading the cars to the green flag.

No. 2 ARRIS Telcel Toyota driver Abraham Calderón will start in second place. No. 26 Santiago Tovar, No. 28 Ruben Rovelo and No. 58 Jorge Contreras Jr. round out the top-five in the lineup. Salvador De Alba Jr., Irwin Vences, Ruben Pardo, Homero Richards and Rogelio Lopez art the rest of the top ten starters.
