Hermie Sadler has landed a one-race deal to drive Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 car this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.
Sadler, the older brother of RCR Nationwide Series driver Elliott Sadler, has 63 career Cup starts in addition to 259 Nationwide races and 15 in the NASCAR Truck Series. RCR has entered the No. 33 car in the first five races of the season with Elliott Sadler in the car at Daytona and Brendan Gaughan driving in the next four races. Clint Bowyer drove the car for RCR until moving to Michael Waltrip Racing this season. Hermie Sadler has brought sponsorship from Anderson’s Maple Syrup and Am Fm-Energy to RCR. Hermie Sadler will be piloting the No. 71 HOMESMART Ford Fusion this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Martinsville, Virginia for the running of the Tums Fast Relief 500.

Virginia native Hermie Sadler drove the No. 71 Eco-Fuel Saver Chevrolet to a 28th place finish in the Goody’s 500 at Martinsville Speedway.

Sadler avoided several multi-car wrecks and a blown right front tire, to give TRG its best finish of the season. He was able to gain 14 spots during the race as the team bounced back from a brake problem during qualifying that left them with the 43rd starting spot.-TRG Motorsports

Hermie Sadler, an Emporia, Virginia native, will be back behind the wheel of the No. 71 Eco Fuel Saver Chevrolet in this weekend’s Goody’s Fast Relief 500.

This will mark Sadler’s 11th start at Martinsville Speedway and his 2nd start for TRG Motorsports. He piloted the Kevin Buckler owned Chevrolet at Martinsville in October 2010, bringing home a 26th-place finish, a career best for Sadler and the TRG Motorsports team at the 0.526-mile oval.-TRG Motorsports

Following an action-filled 500 laps that Martinsville Speedway is known for, Hermie Sadler raced the No. 71 ModSpace TRG Motorsports Chevy to a 26th place finish during Sunday’s Tums Fast Relief 500.

The team’s solid 26th place finish came at a critical time. With only four races remaining, TRG currently sits 35th in Team Owner’s points. A top-35 place in the standings will guarantee them a starting spot in the remaining races this season as well into the first 5 races of 2011.-TRG Motorsports

Hermie Sadler will make his first Sprint Cup start since 2006 when he drives the TRG Motorsports No. 71 car this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.

The Virginia native, who primarily is a reporter for the Speed television network, has 59 career Cup starts and 259 in the Nationwide Series. He has started three Nationwide Series races and four Camping World Truck Series events this year. He finished 12th in the truck race at Martinsville earlier this year.-SceneDaily.com

Hermie Sadler and the No. 48 team win the O’Reilly Auto Parts award in the Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts award is presented to the eligible driver who improves the most positions from their starting position (36th) to their finishing position (19th). Sadler, who made 2 of the 7 races so far this season, moved up 9 spots to 39th in the 2010 NCWTS point standings.
