Chris Fontaine will be making his 37th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 14th.

This is his first career start at Iowa Speedway. The last NCWTS race Fontaine ran in was at Kentucky Speedway on June 28th. There he started 36th and finished 20th. In February at Daytona, Fontaine started 22nd and got his first NCWTS career top ten finish of 7th.

Chris Fontaine gets the last qualifying slot open to teams outside of the top 25 in owners points for the Camping World Truck Series race.

His lap of 163.587 mph in the No. 84 truck was 35th fastest in qualifying. He will line up 36th at the green flag for the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Chris Fontaine will be making his 32nd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start and second at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 24th.

In last year’s NCWTS race here he started 16th and finished 19th. He was running near the front when he got caught up in a late race accident that took him out of the race. The last NCWTS race Fontaine ran was at Talladega in October. Bullshades custom sunglasses are on the truck for this race.

Chris Fontaine’s qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the Camping World Truck Series Too Tough to Tame 200 at Darlington Raceway.

He ran a lap of 166.777 mph in the No. 84 truck. It was 33rd quickest but not quick enough to make the field for today’s race.

Chris Fontaine had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in Happy Hour practice for the Camping World Truck Series NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

His average of 185.045 mph in the No. 84 was best of the 9 trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 88 Matt Crafton, 13-Johnny Sauter, 25-Tayler Malsam and 3-Austin Dillon were the rest of the top 5 on this list.

Chris Fontaine and the Glenden Enterprises #84 NCWTS team are preparing their #84 NCWTS Toyota Tundra truck for the race at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, 2011.

This will be the first time Fontaine has raced in a NCWTS race at Daytona and his second race at the track. It will be his 25th career start in NCWTS. In 2004, he drove in the i-Power DASH race at Daytona, starting 17th and finishing 15th. In the last NCWTS race he ran, Chris Fontaine led the October 2010 race at Talladega three times for a total of 15 laps. It was his first career race at the track and he says he learned a lot there that he can take to Daytona.

Chris Fontaine will be making his 23rd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Talladega Superspeedway.

This is Fontaine's first time at Talledega. He has competed in six NCWTS races so far this year with his own team, at Atlanta, Nashville, Dover, Michigan, Pocono and Chicagoland. He finished 17th at Atlanta, Dover and Michigan. At Chicagoland, Fontaine equaled his career-best finish of 13th set last year at Gateway. While running a limited NCWTS schedule with his Glenden Enterprises Team in 2009 and 2010, Fontaine's averages are steadily improving season over season.

Chris Fontaine makes the most improvement in the series after the Camping World Truck Series VFW 200 at Michigan Int’l Speedway.

He started 20th and his 17th place finish was 12 places better than his last NCWTS finish. This earned the No. 84 driver the Featherlite "Most Improved Driver" award. Fontaine, who made 5 of the 9 races so far this season, is currently 31st in the 2010 NCWTS point standings.
