Chris Fontaine (No. 78 Glenden Enterprises Toyota Tundra) was credited with a 23rd place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) fred's 250 at Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway.

Chris Fontaine and the Glenden Enterprises #78 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) team will make their seventh career start at Talladega Superspeedway this coming Saturday, October 22 in the Fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola.

Fontaine has two top ten finishes at the track in 2014 and 2015 with his best finish of seventh coming in 2014. In the 2011 and 2012 races he got caught up in accidents midway through the race. His best start at the track came in 2010 when he qualified sixth. He was leading the race with two laps to go and ran out of gas while running under caution.-Chris Fontaine PR

Chris Fontaine and the Glenden Enterprises team are racing on the dirt this week in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway on July 20th.

In last year's race at the dirt track, he qualified 21st and finished 16th. "We are looking to be competitive, and try to finish better than last year," Fontaine said, adding, "I think I will be more comfortable because I will be in my own truck. We will see how it works." Chris Fontaine’s qualifying speed was not good enough to get into the Camping World Truck Series Alpha Energy Solutions 250.

He ran a lap of 92.524 mph in the No. 78 truck. It was 37th quickest but not quick enough to make the 32-truck lineup.

BJ McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) announced today the signing of NASCAR veteran driver Chris Fontaine to pilot the second NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) team car in the upcoming PowerShares® QQQ 300 at Daytona.

He will drive the No. 99 Ford Mustang in a former Roush Fenway Racing car acquired by the team during the off-season. Fontaine’s NXS debut will be backed by RackTails Gear with additional support from Glenden Enterprises and JPS Ford. In addition to his duties in the NXS, Fontaine will be competing in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) NextEra Energy Resources 250 race in a partnership with BJMM. Fontaine will drive the No. 78 RackTails Gear/Glenden Enterprises Toyota Tundra and is poised to make his 54th series start overall. In five prior NCWTS starts at Daytona, the 34-year-old has drafted to a track best of seventh in 2012, while starting a track best eighth last February. Jason Houghtaling will serve as crew chief for Fontaine’s XFINITY Series effort.

He started the No. 84 Glenden Enterprises Toyota Tundra 11th in the lineup for the fred's 250. Fontaine, who made two of the 18 races this season, is currently 44th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings after the event.

Chris Fontaine will be making his 37th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 14th.

This is his first career start at Iowa Speedway. The last NCWTS race Fontaine ran in was at Kentucky Speedway on June 28th. There he started 36th and finished 20th. In February at Daytona, Fontaine started 22nd and got his first NCWTS career top ten finish of 7th.

His lap of 163.587 mph in the No. 84 truck was 35th fastest in qualifying. He will line up 36th at the green flag for the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Chris Fontaine will be making his 32nd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start and second at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 24th.

In last year’s NCWTS race here he started 16th and finished 19th. He was running near the front when he got caught up in a late race accident that took him out of the race. The last NCWTS race Fontaine ran was at Talladega in October. Bullshades custom sunglasses are on the truck for this race.
