In three starts, Alex Kennedy has posted his best finish at Watkins Glen. He was 29th in this race last year, which is bracketed by a 40th at Sonoma last year and a 39th there this spring.
Three starts is not much to go on and a 29th-place finish will not get Kennedy on many rosters, but this is a driver to watch and consider potentially next season if he keeps his part time ride on the road courses and at Pocono. Aug 8 - 5:29 PM

Alex Kennedy has become the go-to driver for No. 33 Joe Falk team at Pocono and on road courses. He will make his third start on this track in the GoBowling.com 400.

In the June race Kennedy was running a mere four laps off the pace at the end, but that netted only a 39th-place finish with limited attrition. This race is important for the driver and fantasy owners because it gives the team a chance to develop some chemistry before next week’s contest at Watkins Glen—where Kennedy may be a longshot dark horse.
