Drew Herring will be making his second career start at Phoenix International Raceway.

In his lone previous start at the Arizona track, Herring started 10th and finished 16th. This will be his 22nd career NASCAR XFINITY Series start and his second of the season in the No. 24 "Young Guns" Toyota.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Drew Herring, the Benson, North Carolina native, would battle a tight race car as he steered the No. 24 Young Guns Toyota to a well-earned 19th place finish in the running of the Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Drew started the 200-lap event from the 22nd position as a result of his qualifying effort earlier in the day. The JGL Racing team will next head to Phoenix International Raceway for the running of the DC Solar 200 with Drew Herring climbing behind the wheel of the No. 24 Young Guns Toyota for the second straight week.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Drew Herring (No. 24 "Young Guns" Toyota Camry) will be making his first career start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The start will be his 21st career start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. He piloted the No. 24 Toyota for JGL Racing last year in four events. Said Herring: "This will be my first time racing at the Las Vegas track and first time working with Clinton Cram (crew chief). JGL Racing is proud to announce the return of Drew Herring and Corey LaJoie to their "Young Guns" program for the 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

LaJoie will make his debut behind the wheel of the No. 24 Toyota in the second race of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The following week will find Herring fill the seat as the XFINITY Series moves to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first of three west coast races. In addition to the Las Vegas event, Herring will once again be behind the wheel of the No. 24 Young Guns Toyota the following week at Phoenix International Raceway. Drew made four starts last season for the Young Guns program garnering three top-20 finishes with a best finish of 12th at Iowa Speedway.-Integrity Sports Marketing

The XFINITY Series Dover race postponement (to Sunday at 10:00 am) -- due to weather -- left teams scrambling to assemble its lineups Saturday afternoon with playoff chances on the line.

Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup contender, Kyle Busch, was expected to perform double-duty, but with both races now on Sunday, teams had to reassemble its lineups so he could focus on the main event -- the first elimination race in the Chase. Drew Herring will now wheel the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota for Busch on Sunday morning.

Drew Herring (#28 JGL Young Guns Toyota) finished 16th in Saturday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He started 9th on the grid and completed 249 of the 250 laps run. Herring, who started in 4 of the 19 series races so far this season, moved up three spots to 32nd in the 2016 NXS championship standings after this event.

Drew Herring (No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota Camry) will be making his seventh career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Iowa Speedway to go along with one previous start in the Camping World Truck Series.

Drew has had much success at Iowa Speedway having earned two career Pole Awards and a best finish of sixth which came during the 2013 season at the Newton, Iowa track. Herring is filling in for Dakota Armstrong. Armstrong will be filling in for recovering Matt Tifft in the Joe Gibbs Racing #18 Toyota in the XFINITY race at Pocono Raceway.

Drew Herring (#24 JGL Young Guns Toyota Camry) finished 14th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Ollie's Bargain Outlet 200 at Delaware's Dover International Speedway.

He started 21st on the grid and completed 119 laps of the 120-lap race. Herring, who made his first series start of this season, is currently 38th in the 2016 NXS championship standings after this event.

Drew Herring has been added to JGL Racing's highly successful "Young Guns" program. The Benson, North Carolina native will pilot the No. 24 Toyota at the May 16th NASCAR XFINITY Series Ollie's Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway.

Drew Herring tops the speed chart in the Final Practice session for the XFINITY Series VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway.

He ran a fast lap of 175.959 mph in the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry. No. 22 Ryan Blaney, No. 18 Daniel Suarez, No. 33 Brandon Jones and No. 2 Brian Scott round out the top-five of the 39 cars out on the track. The No. 40 Dodge driven by John Jackson Jr. was the slowest in the final practice session.

Drew Herring won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 3M 250 with a lap of 23.439 seconds, 134.391 mph.

This is the No. 20 Interstate Batteries Toyota driver's second pole in 16 NASCAR XFINITY Series races. It is his first pole and first top-10 start in 2015. It is Herring's second pole in six races at Iowa Speedway.
