Miguel Paludo (32 Chevrolet Silverado) leads the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session at Texas Motor Speedway.

He ran a quick lap of 180.373 mph. No. 6 Justin Lofton, No. 3 Ty Dillon, No. 88 Matt Crafton and No. 4 Jeb Burton rounded out the top five of the 29 trucks practicing for the WinStar World Casino 350. Mike Harmon, in the No. 84 truck, was the slowest.

Miguel Paludo goes into the season's biggest 'wild card' race at Talladega Superspeedway fifth in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.

Paludo is four points behind fourth-place teammate Jeb Burton and eight points ahead of sixth-place driver Timothy Peters. The team will unload chassis TSM-212 this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. TSM-212 was the truck utilized in the 2013 season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway in February, where Paludo earned a seventh-place finish.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Miguel Paludo (132 Chevrolet Silverado) leads the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

He ran a quick lap of 175.382 mph. No. 3 Ty Dillon, No. 31 James Buescher, No. 88 Matt Crafton and No. 24 Brennan Newberry rounded out the top five of the 25 trucks practicing for the Smith’s 350. Norm Benning, in the No. 57 truck, was the slowest.

Miguel Paludo (32 Chevrolet Silverado) has two previous starts at the 1.5-mile D-shaped Chicagoland Speedway, with a best finish of eighth in 2011.

Paludo has also started in the top 10 in both of his previous visits to Chicago. The team will use chassis TSM-600 this weekend. It has never started or finished outside the top 10 in the four races in which it has been utilized, earning the pole position and a best finish of second at Pocono Raceway. The truck has both an average start and average finish of sixth, and most recently hit the track at Michigan where Paludo finished fifth.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Although he has not yet had the opportunity to show his road-course prowess in the NCWTS, Miguel Paludo (32 Chevrolet Silverado) is by all accounts a road-course expert.

He came to the United States from the Porsche GT3 Cup Brasil and the GT3 Brasil Championship, two sports car series which race exclusively on road courses. Paludo won back-to-back championships in the Porsche GT3 Cup Brasil in 2008 and 2009 on the strength of 13 wins, seven poles and 25 podium finishes in a total of 31 races, making him the youngest champion in series history and the first to win back-to-back titles.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Paludo will drive the No. 32 BRANDT do Brasil Chevrolet Silverado on September 13, 2013. In its 60th Anniversary year, BRANDT has established BRANDT do Brasil to build its business in the high-profile agriculture country. Miguel Paludo has made two visits to Michigan International Speedway in the past, finishing and starting in the top 10 in both previous starts.

Paludo's best start at the track (third) was earned last year with Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM), while he garnered his best finish of third in 2011. Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-600 this week at Michigan. Miguel Paludo is fastest in lone practice session for the Camping World Truck Series Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway.

The 167.673 mph in the No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado was the fastest of the 34 trucks out on the track for the practice leading up to Saturday’s event. No. 19 Ross Chastain, No. 4 Jeb Burton, No. 77 German Quiroga and No. 54 Darrell Wallace Jr. were the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. Tony Raines was the slowest (145.426 mph) in the No. 38 Chevrolet Silverado.

Miguel Paludo has two previous starts at the Tricky Triangle, with his best run coming in 2012 when he qualified third and finished 13th.

The No. 32 team will unload chassis TSM-600 this week at Pocono. TSM-600 made its debut earlier this season at Texas Motor Speedway where Paludo earned a 10th-place finish. Miguel Paludo has never before competed in an event on dirt, but he's no stranger to short-track racing.

In 13 NCWTS starts on tracks shorter than one mile, he has earned one top-five and four top-10 finishes. Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-003 this week in Eldora. At 137.333 mph in the No. 32 Chevrolet Silverado, he was the fastest of the 35 trucks out on the track for the final practice. No. 19 Ross Chastain, No. 18 Joey Coulter, No. 77 German Quiroga and No. 3 Ty Dillon are the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. No. 0 Chris Lafferty was the slowest.

In his three previous starts in Iowa, Miguel Paludo has earned three top-15 and one top-10 finish, completing 100-percent of all scheduled laps at the track.

Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-227 this weekend. This chassis made its on-track debut earlier this season at Martinsville Speedway where Paludo ran in the top five for much of the race. Miguel Paludo is hoping to get lucky in Kentucky with the first win of his NCWTS career in the Thursday-night show at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval.

Paludo led practice in his most recent visit to the Sparta, Ky. track in September before qualifying 12th and finishing eighth. The eighth-place finish bumped Paludo to 10th in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings, where he stayed for the remainder of the season.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Intermediate tracks have historically been good to the 29-year-old Brazilian, who has earned 10 of his 17 career top-10 finishes at tracks between one and two miles in length.
