Joey Coulter will pilot Chassis No. 022 in Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway, the same Chevrolet Silverado (previously from Richard Childress Racing) which Coulter drove to victory lane for his first series win at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in 2012.

Joey Coulter drove GMS Racing’s No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado to a 14th-place finish on Wednesday night in the second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) 1-800-Carcash Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway.

He qualified 17th and finished second in his heat race to advance to the feature event and start seventh. By Lap 140, he had his Chevrolet Silverado in 16th-postion but ultimately worked his way up to 14th when the checkered flag waved. Coulter currently sits ninth in the NCWTS driver points standings, only 57 points back from first.-GMS Racing

Joey Coulter finishes 14th in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio.

He started the No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado 7th in the lineup for the 1-800 Car Cash Mudsummer Classic main event. He is currently 9th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings after this event.

Joey Coulter will pilot Chassis No. 008 in the 1-800-CarCash Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway. This Chevrolet Silverado attempted a race during the 2013 season, but Wednesday will mark the chassis’ first laps in 2014 for the Jeff Stankiewicz-led team.

Last year for the first time in series history, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series made a stop at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. After 150 laps, which consisted of three segments, Coulter was able to use his dirt-track racing experience to strategically battle his way through traffic after qualifying in 11th-place and ultimately finishing fourth in the inaugural event - the highest finish in the race for a Truck Series regular.-GMS Racing

Although this weekend marks Joey Coulter's first Dover International Speedway appearance for GMS Racing, the Miami Springs, Fla., driver has made three other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the 1-mile track.

He earned a career-best sixth-place finish at the track in May 2011. As well, he has completed all 547 of 547 laps run at the track (100.0%). The No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado team will sport the black, blue and yellow colors this weekend, with Allegiant Travel adorning the hood and quarter panels.-GMS Racing

Joey Coulter will compete for the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship behind the wheel of the GMS Racing No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado. 

Beginning with the 2014 season, GMS Racing enters a technical alliance with Chevrolet and Richard Childress Racing (RCR). In addition, Coulter's team will utilize Earnhardt Childress Racing Engines to provide top-notch horsepower. Of the teams required to make the field on speed, the lap of 176.499 mph was the fastest. The qualifying speed puts him sixth in the lineup for the Nationwide Series Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway.

Joey Coulter has the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the first practice for the Camping World Truck Series National Guard 200 at Michigan International Speedway.

His average of 183.077 mph in the No. 18 was best of the six trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 51 Kyle Busch, No. 3 Ty Dillon, No. 31 James Buescher, No. 19 Joey Logano and No. 62 Brendan Gaughan are the rest of the drivers on this list.

Joey Coulter wins the Mobil 1 Command Performance Driver of the Race award at Eldora.

The award is given to the winner of the race or the next-highest finishing driver displaying the Mobil 1 decal. He earned the award for his fourth place finish in the Mudsummer Classic after leading 10 laps. The driver of the No. 18 Toyota Tundra is currently 12th in the 2013 NCWTS point standings.
