Bill Henderson would assume Crew Chief duties for Jamie Dick and the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet Camaro.
He will take over the role effective immediately in preparation for the upcoming 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series. Henderson joins Viva Motorsports after spending the 2013 season at Penske Racing serving as the car chief for the No. 12 Ford in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Jamie Dick and his #55-Viva Motorsports with Frank Cicci team are ready and roaring to go racing again at the exciting 1 mile Phoenix International Raceway for the Servicemaster 200.

This weekend will mark Dick's tenth career start at Phoenix, and his 33rd career Nationwide Series Start. His previous nine starts include four in the K&N Pro Series West, two in the Camping World Truck Series, and three in the Nationwide Series. With the series returning to Phoenix International Raceway, it also is the closest track to sponsor Viva Auto Group based out of El Paso, Texas.(Viva Motorsports)-jayski.com

Jamie Dick will miss the Nationwide Series Toyota Care 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

The No. 55 team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. His qualifying speed of 120.166 mph, 40th fastest, was not good enough to make the cut for the event.

Jamie Dick has the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the Happy Hour practice for the Nationwide Series Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway.

His average of 167.483 mph in the No. 23 was best of 4 cars that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 38 Brad Sweet (167.322 mph), No. 42 Timmy Hill (166.376 mph) and No. 17 Tanner Berryhill (164.734 mph) were the others on this list.

Recent college graduate Jamie Dick and Viva Motorsports will hit the newly paved track in Michigan this weekend.

The off weekend worked out well for Jamie as he received his Masters degree in business administration from the University of Denver. Now Jamie will turn his full attention to the #23 Nationwide team and be "able to focus 100% -all day-everyday" to the racing program. Jamie Dick returns to the Nationwide series at "The Lady in Black" this weekend in the R3/Viva Motorsports/Corrie Stott Racing #23 Chevy.

Jamie has one race under his belt at Darlington in the Camping world truck series event in 2011 with a 23rd place finish. After finishes of 23rd in Phoenix and 22nd in the Bristol NW races this year, Jamie and the team had a good test at Nashville in mid April and feel good about the upcoming Darlington race.(CSR PR)-jayski.com

Viva Motorsports announce the hiring of veteran crew chief Jason Miller for the NACAR Nationwide Series 2012 season.

With backing from Viva Auto Group, the team plans to support driver Jamie Dick in twelve to fifteen Nationwide Series races in 2012. Miller has served as crew chief for David Starr in the Camping World Truck Series for the past three years, finishing in the top thirteen in points each year with a best finish of 9th in 2009 and 2010.-jayski.com

Jamie Dick secures the last qualifying slot open to teams outside of the top 30 in owners points for the Nationwide Series race.

The No. 52 driver’s lap of 178.678 mph was 41st fastest in qualifying for the the Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. He will line up 38th at the green flag.

His lap of 169.947 mph in the No. 02 truck was 36th fastest in qualifying. He will line up 36th at the green flag for the Coca-Cola 250 at Talladega Superspeedway.

NASCAR announced penalties and fines to the Nationwide Series No. 02 team (Jamie Dick driver) as a result of rule infractions at Kentucky Speedway.

The No. 02 car was found to be in violation of Sections 12-1; 12-4-J and 20A-2.3A (improperly attached weight). The infraction occurred during practice on July 7. As a result of the violation, crew chief Corrie Stott has been fined $10,000 and placed on NASCAR probation until Aug. 17.-NASCAR PR

Jamie Dick will not be in the lineup for the Camping World Truck Series NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

He is one of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed. He ran a 43rd fastest lap of 171.386 mph in the No. 02. This was not good enough to make the 36-truck field.

Jimmy Dick, owner of Viva Motorsports and Corrie Stott, owner of Corrie Stott Racing have joined forces to support 21 year old driver Jamie Dick in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for a limited number of events in 2011.

With Viva providing equipment and support, and Stott managing the team’s weekly operations and preparation, they jointly look forward to an exciting 2011 season. Viva Motorsports has not set a final 2011 schedule yet, but plans to run 7-10 races in the Truck Series initially.
