Jamie Dick was credited with a 38th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

He started the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet Camaro 31st on the grid for the Hisense 300. He made it to lap 45 of the 200 lap event before his engine blew up. After getting oil on his back tires, he backed the No. 55 into the wall and was done for the day. Dick, who made four of the 11 series races so far this season, is currently 32nd in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

Jamie Dick finished 25th in Sunday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He started the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet Camaro 30th on the grid for the 3M 250. He completed 255 laps of the 259 lap race. Dick, who made three of the 10 series races so far this season, is currently 32nd in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Jamie Dick avoided injury when a piece of metal sailed into his car – either through the windshield or side window – during Saturday morning’s practice at Iowa Speedway, according to a report by the Des Moines Register.

This is Dick’s first weekend back in the series since being diagnosed with diabetes in March. "It was a decent hit," Dick told the Des Moines Register. "Good thing I was wearing a helmet, that’s what it’s for. I feel fine. I could definitely feel it." The paper reported that the piece of metal was either lead or tungsten that teams use to add extra weight to their stock cars but was not properly secured. Ross Chastain tweeted that the debris came from his car.

This weekend's 3M 250 at Iowa Speedway will mark the return of driver, Jamie Dick, to NASCAR XFINITY Series competition.

Dick has been sidelined since being diagnosed with diabetes following the XFINITY Series race in Phoenix on March 14th. After being cleared by his doctors and the NASCAR medical staff, Jamie is excited to be back behind for the first time in over two months. Viva Motorsports drivers, Jeffrey Earnhardt and Brandon Gdovic were called upon to drive the No. 55 machine during Dick's absence. Both drivers and will continue to be behind the wheel as the schedule permits.-Viva Motorsports

Immediately following Saturday's Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200, Jamie Dick, the driver and owner of the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet, was taken to the infield care center at Phoenix International Raceway after reporting dizziness and fatigue.

Upon evaluation, the physicians on site recommended he visit West Valley Hospital for further tests. Dick was admitted to the hospital Saturday evening and diagnosed with new onset diabetes. He was released Sunday afternoon and has flown back to the Charlotte area to continue evaluation and treatment. Jeffrey Earnhardt will fill in for Dick as the driver of the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet for the upcoming NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Auto Club Speedway.-Viva Motorsports

Jamie Dick will be making his season debut this weekend in the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Having last driven in the penultimate event of the 2014 XFINITY Series season, Dick is ready to knock off the winter rust and get back into the drivers seat.

Dick is entering his 5th season of part time NASCAR XFINITY Series completion, having accumulated 55 previous starts. He will be the pilot of the No. 55 Camaro for the next three events as the XFINITY Series completes the West Coast swing. Jeffrey Earnhardt drove the No. 55 entry in the first two races for Viva Motorsports and will get back behind the wheel for future races this season.-Viva Motorsports

Fiesta Auto Group is a brand new car dealership located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, specializing in both new and used cars. The No. 55 Camaro will be making a stop in Albuquerque on its way to the racetrack to show off the new look and to thank the Fiesta customers and employees for their support. Dick has made five previous NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Phoenix with a best result of 18th place.

When Jamie Dick and his Viva Auto Group Chevrolet hit the track in Indianapolis, they will be sporting a new look.

The logo of Fronius USA will be featured on the lower quarter panels of the No. 55 Camaro. Viva Motorsports will be using the newly released Fronius AccuPocket welder for the 2014 season. The Viva Motorsports team will be rolling out car VM-010 for weekend’s race. This car was last used at Michigan International Speedway. VM-005 will serve as backup.

Jamie Dick will be back in NASCAR Nationwide Series competition this weekend at Michigan International Speedway.

The Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 250 will mark the first race with Dick behind the wheel in over a month. The familiar orange and black No. 55 will hit the track with continued support from Viva Auto Group, Viva Powersports, and Bestway Autos. Being the 8th race of his 22 race schedule, Jamie Dick and the Viva Motorsports team look to build on the solid foundation laid during the beginning of the season.

Bill Henderson would assume Crew Chief duties for Jamie Dick and the No. 55 Viva Auto Group Chevrolet Camaro.

He will take over the role effective immediately in preparation for the upcoming 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series. Henderson joins Viva Motorsports after spending the 2013 season at Penske Racing serving as the car chief for the No. 12 Ford in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. In the 2013 season the No. 12 Ford won one race, four poles, 16 top-five finishes and a serious contender for the Nationwide Series Championship.

Jamie Dick and his #55-Viva Motorsports with Frank Cicci team are ready and roaring to go racing again at the exciting 1 mile Phoenix International Raceway for the Servicemaster 200.

This weekend will mark Dick's tenth career start at Phoenix, and his 33rd career Nationwide Series Start. His previous nine starts include four in the K&N Pro Series West, two in the Camping World Truck Series, and three in the Nationwide Series.
