Matt Kaulig is proud to announce the establishment of full-time NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) team, Kaulig Racing™, for the 2016 season with Blake Koch piloting the #11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection™ Chevrolet Camaro.
Kaulig, President and owner of LeafFilter Gutter Protection™, an Ohio based leader in the gutter protection industry, and has sponsored Koch in both the Sprint Cup and NXS the last 2 years and is ready to start a new endeavor and transition to team owner. Setting the team up for success early on, Kaulig Racing™ has joined forces with powerhouse team Richard Childress Racing (RCR), in a technical alliance. RCR collaboration with the technical partnership brings an extra boost of confidence to the Kaulig Racing™ team. TriStar Motorsports has recently made changes by restructuring teams in preparation for the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

Formerly fielding four full-time entries, TriStar has scaled back to two full-time teams in an effort to refocus goals and enhance the level of competition. TriStar will actively participate in the XFINITY Series fielding the No. 14 and No. 44 Toyota Camrys for the season. Blake Koch and TriStar Motorsports have amicably parted ways to allow Koch to independently pursue alternate options for 2016. He will continue with the No. 8 car that he formerly drove at TriStar Motorsports in 2015.-TriStar Motorsports

Blake Koch (#8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Toyota Camry) finished 18th in the November 21st NASCAR XFINITY Series season-ending Ford EcoBoost 300 at Florida's Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The TriStar Motorsports driver started 25th in the lineup and completed 199 laps of the 200-lap event. Koch, who competed in all of the season's 33 races, closed out the season 17th in the final 2015 XFINITY Series driver championship standings.

The NASCAR XFINITY Series season finale will take place this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Blake Koch will return to a track where he has seen great success. In 2013, Koch posted his best starting position of 2nd and finished the race just outside the top-10 in the 11th position. The No. 8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection team will unload a brand-new chassis this weekend for the Ford EcoBoost 300. After nine previous starts at Phoenix International Raceway, Blake Koch knows his way around the one-mile track.

In the fall of 2011, he started 13th and finished the race 14th, making that his best starting and finishing position. In the final short-track race of the 2015 season, Koch is looking forward to finishing the race strong and increasing the momentum going into Homestead. The No. 8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Toyota Camry driver posted his best finish back in 2011 when he finished 22nd. In his 145th NASCAR XFINITY Series start this weekend, Koch is looking to get back on track and finish out the 2015 season strong. Coming off of a 27th place finish last weekend at Darlington Raceway, Blake Koch is looking forward to getting back to a track where he has eight previous starts.

After a tough weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (wrecked on lap 22, finished 37th) Blake Koch and the No. 8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection team is ready to unload at Iowa Speedway this weekend.

When the NASCAR XFINITY Series visited Iowa Speedway earlier this season, Koch battled a loose Camry and came out with a 22nd place finish. Blake Koch was credited with a 36th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI.

He started the No. 8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Toyota 25th on the grid for the Great Clips 250. He made it to lap 74 of the 125 lap event before exiting the race (Electrical). He is currently 18th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.
