He started the No. 8 Celsius Negative Calorie Cola Toyota 25th on the grid for the Hisense 250. He completed 160 laps of the 163 lap race. He is currently 13th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

Koch will be behind the wheel of a new car number as he pilots the No. 8 Toyota Camry in all 33 NASCAR XFINITY Series races this season. "After a good 2014 season, I am excited to be back with TriStar Motorsports for the 2015 season," said Koch. "I am looking forward to working with Bruce Cook and the No. 8 crew and can't wait to get to Daytona." Koch has four previous starts at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway, with an average starting position of 15.8 and an average finishing position of 26.8.
