Dakoda Armstrong will be back with JGL Racing in 2017, the third-year driver confirmed Friday afternoon to Frontstretch.
The 25-year-old Indiana native moved to JGL Racing this season after competing with Richard Petty Motorsports for two years. But when RPM opted to sign Jeb Burton, Armstrong was left without a ride. Dakoda Armstrong piloted his No. 28 WinField Toyota to a 20th place finish in the running of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge on the 1.5-mile layout of the Texas Motor Speedway.
