Alex Tagliani will drive the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150 in the August 30 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.

He made his NCWTS debut in 2014 at the 2.459-mile Canadian road course behind the wheel of the No. 19 Reese Towpower Ford F-150. He won the pole in his first start and made it look easy, capturing the top starting spot with a lap (80.558 seconds) that was both a track record and a whopping .433 seconds better than the second place starter. Tagliani has seven XFINITY Series starts sprinkled over seven seasons dating back to 2009. He enters the NCWTS event at CTMP on the heels of a strong performance at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Lexington, Ohio) where he won the pole and finished second after leading 38 of the event's 75 laps.-Brad Keselowski Racing

Canadian Tire Series driver Alex Tagliani (No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang) finished second in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH.

He started on the pole and led 38 laps of the 75-lap race. Making only his first start this season in the NXS, Tagliani also won the Coors Light Pole and the Duralast Brakes "Brake in the Race" contingency awards.

NASCAR Canadian Tire Series driver Alex Tagliani (No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 with a lap of 84.626 seconds, 96.056 mph.

This is his third pole in seven NASCAR XFINITY Series races. It is his first pole and first top-10 start in 2015. This is Tagliani's first pole in two races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

NASCAR Canadian Tire Series regular Alex Tagliani will drive the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang for Team Penske in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on August 15.

A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Tagliani competed in two XFINITY Series races for Team Penske in 2014, winning one pole at Road America and posting two top-five finishes. He has made six XFINITY Series starts over the course of his racing career. He has also competed in one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and has memorable performances in the Verizon IndyCar Series, sports car competition and the Australian V8 Supercar Series.-Penske Racing

Alex Tagliani, who hails from nearby Lachenaie, Quebec, posted a fast lap of 96.342 seconds (78.956 mph) Saturday at Circuit ICAR to capture his sixth career Canadian Tire Series pole.

It’s Tagliani’s second pole in three visits to the 2.113-mile airport course. He was the inaugural event’s polesitter in 2011. The Circuit ICAR winner in each of the previous three years, Andrew Ranger qualified on the outside pole for the Ecko Unlimited 100. The Roxton Pond, Quebec, native’s fastest lap Saturday was 96.372 seconds (78.932 mph). On Sunday he will look to extend his own series record for consecutive wins at a track.
