Alex Tagliani became the first driver in series history to have the entire field lapped at the finish as he captured the checkered flag in the inaugural Leland Industries 300 presented by Johnsonville in dominant fashion behind the wheel of his No. 18 EpiPen/CGI/CanTourque Chevrolet.

It was the second career series victory for Tagliani, who last won on July 26, 2008 at Edmonton City Centre Airport. This was just the 27th Canadian Tire Series start for the native of Lachenaie, Quebec. Jason Hathaway, last week’s winner at Autodrome Chaudiere, finished a lap down in second with rookie Cayden Lapcevich in third. Scott Steckly was two laps down in fourth with J.F. Dumoulin fifth.

Alex Tagliani finished fifth in Saturday's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec.

He started the No. 18 EpiPen/CGI/CanTorque Chevrolet eighth on the grid for the Budweiser 300. He completed all laps of the 300 lap event. Tagliani, who made one of two series races so far this season, is currently 17th in the 2015 Canadian Tire Series championship standings.

Alex Tagliani was credited with a 21st place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at Kawartha Speedway in Ontario.

He started the No. 18 EpiPen/Dicom Express Dodge 4th on the grid for the Pinty's 250. He made it to lap 193 of the 250 lap event before exiting the event (mechanical). He ends the season 9th in the 2014 Canadian Tire Series championship standings after this race.

NASCAR Canadian Tire Series regular (No. 18 EpiPen/Dicom Express Dodge) Alex Tagliani wins the Keystone Light Pole Award for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Chevrolet Silverado 250 with a lap of 80.558 seconds, 109.889 mph.

That sets a new NCWTS qualifying record at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The previous record of 109.189 mph was set by James Buescher in 2013. This is the No. 19 Reese Towpower Ford F-150 driver's first pole in his very first NCWTS start. Gray Gaulding (second) posted his third top-10 start of 2014 in his first start at CTMP.

He started the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford 2nd on the grid for the Nationwide Children's Hospital 200. Tagliani, who made only two starts so far this season, is currently 37th in the 2014 Nationwide Series championship standings after this event.
