It took Alex Tagliani just over a year, but he finally found his way back to Victory Lane by winning Le 50 Tours Can-Am on Sunday.

He took the lead on Lap 28 from Andrew Ranger and didn't look back. Despite hard charges from Ranger and an overtime finish, Tagliani and his No.18 Lowe's/EpiPen/St.Hubert Dodge captured the win for the first time since Edmonton last season. The GP3R victory also marked Tagliani's first NASCAR Pinty's Series win on the historic road course. Pole-sitter Andrew Ranger finished second to extend his success at Trois-Rivières, he has finished no worse than second in his 11 attempts at GP3R. Marc-Antoine Camirand finished third to claim his second podium finish of 2017.

Alex Tagliani (No. 18 EpiPen/Lowe's/St. Hubert/Fast Wheels Dodge) led the lone practice for the NASCAR Pinty's Series Le 50 Tours Can-Am at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres in Quebec.

The lap of 81.308 mph was the quickest of the 20 cars out on the track for this practice session. No. 47 L.P. Dumoulin, No. 74 Kevin Lacroix, No. 22 Marc-Antoine Camirand and No. 32 Alex Labbe are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. Larry Jackson (No. 8 Wonder/Dunright Foam/CBRT/B&B Decals Dodge) was the slowest.

He started third in the lineup and completed all laps of the 300-lap race. Tagliani, who entered all eight Pinty's races so far this season, jumped from eighth to sixth in the 2017 championship standings after this event.

Alex Tagliani (No. 18 Epipen/Lowe's/St. Hubert/Fast Wheels Dodge) had a DNF in one of Wednesday's NASCAR Pinty's Series Velocity Prairie Thunder Twin 100s at Wyant Group Raceway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In the first race, he started eighth, completed 66 laps of the 104-lap overtime race before exiting (Radiator) and was credited with a 20th place DNF. In the second event, he started eighth, completed all laps of the 100 lap race and finished in ninth place. Tagliani, who has competed in all seven Pinty's races so far this season, is currently eighth in the 2017 driver championship standings after these events.

He started on the pole, led a race-high 61 laps and completed all laps of the 79-lap race. Tagliani, who has competed in all four Pinty's races so far this season, is currently sixth in the 2017 driver championship standings after this event.

Alex Tagliani didn't let the new track layout stop him from claiming the E3 Spark Plugs pole award for Saturday's ECKO Unlimited 75 at Circuit ICAR.

Tagliani's No. 18 EpiPen/Lowe's Dodge set a blazing lap time of 49.304 seconds (49.943 mph) earning him his third E3 Spark Plugs Pole Award at ICAR. His time was also fast enough to set the inaugural track record on the new shorter .624 mile layout. Kevin Lacroix, who was fastest in practice, posted the second fastest time with a 49.373 (50.873). Points leader Alex Labbe will roll of from the third spot. Four time ICAR winner Andrew Ranger will start fourth, followed by Cayden Lapcevich in fifth.
