Turner Motorsports will field the No. 30 Chevrolet with driver Alex Tagliani for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on August 18, 2012.

Tagliani, a hometown favorite in Montreal, will compete on the circuit he knows well after narrowly finishing second in an epic battle to the finish during last year's event. He hopes to better that result in 2012.-Turner Motorsports

Penske Engines, supplier of the engine in the No. 12 Dodge driven by Alex Tagliani in the Nationwide Series NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve wins the Mahle Clevite Engine Builder of the Race award.

The $2,000 cash award is determined by qualifying and finishing position of the car. Tagliani started 2nd and finished 2nd.

Alex Tagliani runs quickest Nationwide Series qualifying lap of the go-or-go-homer drivers.

Of the teams required to make the field on speed, his lap of 95.673 mph in the No. 12 was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 2nd in the lineup for the Nationwide Series NAPA Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Alex Tagliani will drive Penske Racing's No. 12 Hot Wheels Dodge Challenger in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 in Montreal, Canada.

Tagliani will make his first NNS start at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this weekend. He has had previous success in the CART series at the track with one pole and four top-10 starts along with a best finish of fourth in 2003. He has also had one pole and two top-five starts in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Montreal.-Penske Racing
