Full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver Bryan Silas erased an item from his "bucket list" this past weekend, as he made his second-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Darlington.

He teamed with SR2 Motorsports for the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200, piloting the No. 24 Team BOOM Toyota Camry. Despite being knocked out of the race by another competitor, just 24 laps into the 147-lap event, he was extremely thankful for the opportunity given to him. Silas will quickly refocus and turn his attention back to his T3R2 team as they plan to participate in Friday night’s truck event from Charlotte, the fifth race of the season.-Chris Knight PR

Just because there’s a brief break in the Camping World Truck Series schedule, it doesn’t mean that driver Bryan Silas has been soaking it up in the sun.

This past Monday and Tuesday, he participated in a private test at Virginia International Raceway with the BMW Performance Driving School. The advanced two-day road racing course is early preparation for the upcoming NCWTS road-course event this fall from Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. This weekend, he will head to New York visiting both Blackrock Speedway and Canandaigua Speedway to get down and dirty to ready himself for the upcoming Inaugural Mudsummer Classic set for July 24 from Eldora (Oh.) Former Rockingham Speedway winner Bryan Silas will enjoy twice the action this weekend at the historic 1.0-mile oval, as the Stuart, Florida native will compete in both the Frank Kimmel National Street Stock Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races respectively.

He is no stranger to Rockingham’s tough demeanor, but the Floridian has proven over the years that his experience has paid dividends, including notching his first stock-car win in the CARS Pro Cup Series in November 2011. Undoubtedly, the extra track-time this weekend could play into the hands of the sophomore NCWTS driver who hopes to secure his first top-10 finish of the season in Sunday’s highly anticipated North Carolina Education 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine.-Chris Knight PR

T3R2 and Stuart, Florida native Bryan Silas welcome World of Beer (WofB) on-board as an associate sponsor on their No. 99 Ford F-Series for Friday night’s NextEra Energy Resources 250.

On Monday, the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team announced that Lazer TroKar, a line of fishing hooks from Eagle Claw Fishing Tackle will make its NASCAR sponsorship debut in the first of 22 NCWTS races this season. Bryan Silas - T3R2-99-CWTS

T3R2 (formally known as T3R Racing) confirmed that the family-owned team will return to the circuit full-time with Stuart, Florida native Bryan Silas steering the No. 99 Rockingham Speedway Ford F-150.

Participating in all 22 NCWTS events in 2012, Silas utilized his freshman season on the tour to acquire a feel for the trucks. Gary Cogswell will lead the team as crew chief beginning with the season-opening Nextera Energy Resources 250 at Daytona on February 22. The team will once again utilize Ford as its manufacturer with Roush-Yates Engines providing the horsepower. In addition to a full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series slate, Silas will also continue to expand his racing resume with several NASCAR Nationwide Series races also planned for 2013.

Bryan Silas will be locked into his third appearance at the "World Center of Racing" as the driver of the T3R Motorsports No. 99 Rockingham Speedway Ford F-150.

The 24-year old Silas, a Rookie of the Year candidate will be guided by veteran crew chief Cal Boprey. Silas, who recorded his first career stock-car victory at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway in the CARS Pro Cup Series (formally known as the USARacing Pro Cup Series) last November, is determined that his team has the capabilities of keeping a healthy on-track presence this year.-SpeedwayMedia.com

Bryan Silas secures the last qualifying slot open to teams outside of the top 25 in owners points for the Camping World Truck Series race.

His lap of 90.929 mph in the No. 09 truck was 36th fastest in qualifying. He will line up 36th at the green flag for the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Bryan Silas runs quickest Joliet qualifying lap of the Camping World Truck Series go-or-go-homer drivers.

Of the drivers required to make the field on speed, his lap of 171.467 mph in the No. 09 truck was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 21st in the lineup for the Fast Five 225.
