Joey Gase will be back behind the wheel of the No. 32 this week and if his recent history is an indication, he is en route to a 37th-place finish. Gase finished in that exact position at Chicagoland, Kansas, and Texas, which are his only three starts in the Cup series.

Consistency is most often a fantasy player’s best friend, but the results need to be a little better than that to get him on one’s roster. Still, this is a pattern that should allow the team to develop notes and improve.

Consistency is the key to growth. That is good news for the team, but Gase needs to improve slightly and get more seat time to become a tempting dark horse.

Joey Gase will be returning to the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2014 with #52-Jimmy Means Racing after the team ended the 2013 season on a good note at Phoenix International Raceway.

Gase has partnered up with Db Sales Company and Donate Life for his sponsors for select races throughout the 2014 season. The team is still working hard on securing a primary full time sponsor for the 2014 season. "The goal for the season is to finish in the top 30 in owner points and top 20 in driver points" Gase said. He ran a 37th fastest qualifying lap in the No. 52 Toyota. It was not quick enough to make the field for the race.

Joe Gase will miss the Nationwide Series Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. During his qualifying lap, the No. 52 Chevrolet driver wrecked and never completed the lap.

Joey Gase’s qualifying speed was not good enough to make the field for the Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

He ran a lap of 175.165 mph in the No. 52 Chevrolet. It was 38th quickest but not quick enough to make the field for the race.

One of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, he ran a 43rd fastest lap in the No. 52 Chevrolet Camaro. This was not good enough to make the 40-car field.
