Joey Gase will be returning to the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2014 with #52-Jimmy Means Racing after the team ended the 2013 season on a good note at Phoenix International Raceway.
Gase has partnered up with Db Sales Company and Donate Life for his sponsors for select races throughout the 2014 season. The team is still working hard on securing a primary full time sponsor for the 2014 season. "The goal for the season is to finish in the top 30 in owner points and top 20 in driver points" Gase said. The team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. During his qualifying lap, the No. 52 Chevrolet driver wrecked and never completed the lap.

Joey Gase and car owner Jimmy Means confirmed that the 19-year-old race car driver will compete in the full Nationwide Series schedule with #52-Means Racing.

Gase, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa raced in 18 events last season, including 12 with JMR. He has 23 career starts, debuting Aug of 2011 at Iowa Speedway with a finish of 20th. Gase was 30th in overall points in 2012, finishing a career best of 19th with JMR in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway on Oct. 20th.(Gase PR)-jayski.com
