At 176.028 mph, he was the fastest of the 31 trucks out on the track for the final practice. No. 17 Timothy Peters, No. 20 Austin Dillon, No. 51 Kyle Busch and No. 32 Tayler Malsam are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 71 Adam Edwards was the slowest. Quiroga also led the first NCWTS practice earlier today.

German Quiroga leads the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session at Kentucky Speedway.

He ran a quick lap of 175.501 mph in the No. 77 Toyota Tundra. No. 51 Kyle Busch, No. 29 Ryan Blaney, No. 21 Joey Coulter and No. 17 Timothy Peters rounded out the top five of the 27 trucks practicing for the UNOH 225. Jennifer Jo Cobb, in the No. 10 truck, was the slowest.

His first visit to the Sparta, Kentucky race track was in 2013 where he started from the eighth position and finished eighth. He will be competing in chassis No. 003 in the UNOH 225 this week. He started the No. 77 Toyota Tundra 8th in the lineup for the WinStar World Casino 400. The engine let go on lap 53 of the 167 lap event and he was finished for the night. He is currently 6th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings.
