This week's 134-lap race marks No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado driver Max Gresham's third appearance at the Homestead, Fla.-based facility in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The WinStar World Casino 350 will mark Gresham's 36th career NASCAR Camping World Series start and his fourth at Texas Motor Speedway.

In three NCWTS starts at the 1.5-mile oval, he has one top-12 finish with an average finish of 18.3. During his trip to the track in November 2012, Gresham passed 11 trucks in 100 laps before scoring his career-best Texas finish at 12th-place. In June of this year, he qualified 14th before a vibration signaled an end to any hopes of winning, resulting in a 22nd-place finish.-Sharp Gallaher Racing

Max Gresham boasts two starts on restrictor-plate tracks (Daytona and Talladega) with an average starting position of 20.5 and an average finish of 25th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Previous Race Recap... For the Smith's 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on September 28. Starting ninth, Gresham overcame handling issues as the No. 8 Chevrolet as he maintained his position inside the top 10. The top-10 finish was his third of this season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Sharp-Gallaher Racing.

The Smith's 350 will mark Max Gresham's 33rd career NASCAR Camping World Series start and his second at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the site of Gresham's first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start. On Oct.15, 2011, Gresham started from the 32nd position and finished 25th completing only 40 laps. This week's 200-lap race marks Max Gresham's second appearance in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the Newton, Iowa-based facility.

Gresham finished 15th at the track in the July 2013 edition. He will make his sixth career start at the track. He placed third in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in his debut at the track in 2009. In the ARCA Racing Series he finished 10th in July 2010. In 2010, he won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race, leading 14 of those laps at the track. Sunday's Chevrolet Silverado 250 will mark Max Gresham's (8 Chevrolet Silverado) his first race appearance on a road course in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

He has prepared for this weekend recently by holding a test session at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, S.C. The trip to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park will mark the first time since 2000 the truck series has been on a road course.-Sharp Gallaher Racing

Max Gresham did not look at the giant scoring pylon when he climbed out from his No. 8 Made in USA Brand Chevrolet Wednesday night at the Bristol.

He did not need to know where he finished in the UNOH 200 to leave the World's Fastest Half Mile with a sense of satisfaction. "That was a great first race," Gresham said. "It being the first time I've ever raced here, I believe this race was a success. It was a solid, solid day for our No.8 Sharp-Gallaher Racing team. It might not be the finish we wanted, but it was a good first experience." Officially, he was credited with a 15th-place finish. This week's 200-lap Camping World Truck Series race marks Max Gresham's first appearance at the Bristol, Tenn.-based facility.

Gresham is not short on experience with race stats on tracks less than one-mile in length. He has five starts on short tracks in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Leaving Pocono Raceway with a 13th-place finish, Max Gresham and the No.8 Chris Showalter-led team feel confident their luck will continue as they head into this weekend.

Fresh off a 10th-place finish at the half-mile dirt track at Eldora Speedway, Max Gresham and Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) now eagerly face another unique racetrack, nicknamed the "Tricky Triangle," at the Pocono Raceway.

Though this will be his first start at the track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Gresham has the advantage of having prior experience at Pocono Raceway. He started on the pole in 2011 with the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series and he finished sixth. When Gresham reached out to fellow NASCAR drivers for tips on racing on dirt, he quickly realized acquiring such skill can only be learned on the track.

He got his first taste of dirt racing in January testing in a Late Model at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C. A month later, he drove at Volusia Speedway Park in nearby Barberville, Florida. He also has tested his Eddie Sharp Racing truck at Wythe Raceway in Wytheville, Va. Jared Landers, who is ranked seventh nationally in the current Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, will be Gresham's teammate at Eldora Speedway. Max Gresham is entered in the inaugural July 24th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on the dirt track Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

The"Mudsummer Classic"has a different format from the traditional asphalt track; five qualifying races, one last-chance race and a champion’s provisional to determine the 30-truck starting field. Gresham's Eddie Sharp Racing No. 8 Chevrolet Silverado team is not one of the top-20 in owners’ points that have a guaranteed starting position. He will have to race his way into the event.

Although Max Gresham will take to the Iowa Speedway for the first time in the Camping World Truck Series, his successful history at the track provides a boost of confidence.

Gresham has one start in the ARCA Racing Series and three in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series. He placed third in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in his debut at the track in 2009. The Milner, Georgia, native Max Gresham has two career starts at Kentucky Speedway.

A year ago he set a career-best NASCAR Camping World Truck series speedway qualifying effort by qualifying ninth. In both starts in the "Bluegrass State," the Made in USA Brand has dominated his Chevrolet with primary sponsorship.
