Conyers, Georgia native Chris Cockrum returns to the track with a new team for both himself and the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
The 28-year-old will run the #35 Advanced Communications Group/Remembering Captain Herb Emory Chevy Camaro in Saturday's Winn Dixie 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. Cockrum and his sponsor Advanced Communications Group are partnering with XFINITY series team owner Duane Deese. Chris Cockrum finishes 29th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 15 Advanced Communications Group Chevrolet Camaro 37th on the grid for the Hisense 250. He completed 156 laps of the 163 lap race. He is currently 19th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

Chris Cockrum returns to the NASCAR Camping World Truck series this Saturday afternoon behind the wheel of the SS Green Light Racing No. 07 at the Talladega Superspeedway.

He scored his first career NCWTS top-fifteen finish at the season opening Nextera Energy Resources 250 at Daytona behind the wheel of the same No. 07 Toyota Tundra he will drive this weekend at Talladega with backing of Advanced Communications Group. This will be his ninth NCWTS start and he also has nine career ARCA starts. Chris has finished on the lead lap in both of his NCWTS starts on superspeedways.-SSRacingOnline PR

Chris Cockrum will pilot the SSGLR Advanced Communications Group No. 07 Toyota Tundra with associate sponsorship from ACCU-TECH on Friday night.

Chris Cockrum's father, Lynn, confirmed on the phone with News/Talk WSB yesterday that they have forged a partnership with Ryan Sieg Racing to run the No. 93 truck at Daytona and possibly more races.

The No. 93 ended 2011 ranked high enough in the points to be locked into the field at Daytona, assuring Cockrum and sponsor Advanced Communications Group (his father's company) a spot in the race.(News/Talk WSB)
