The day ended early for Benny Gordon (No. 44 Florida Lottery Toyota) at Daytona. Soon after starting 27th in the XFINITY Series PowerShares QQQ 300, a flat right front tire caused damage to the No. 44.
After repairs Gordon returned to the field 39th and three laps down. Soon after returning to green flag racing, a multi-car accident collected Gordon causing damage to both sides of the No. 44. The crew completed repairs and Gordon returned to the field. Still within the first segment of race, another multi-car accident brought out the caution. Upon returning to green flag racing, Gordon incurred another right side tire blow out which unfortunately caused extensive damage ending his day with 35 laps complete and finishing 27th in the PowerShares QQQ 300.-TriStar Motorsports Mon, Feb 27, 2017 11:38:00 AM

In addition to serving as the primary sponsor for the Monster Energy Cup Series No. 72 with Cole Whitt, the Florida Lottery will also participate in the NASCAR XFINITY Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway with Benny Gordon behind the wheel of the No. 44 Florida Lottery Toyota.

Gordon's last run at Daytona International Speedway was July 2016, where he qualified 12th and was unfortunately caught up in an incident near race end. Benny Gordon has teamed with TriStar Motorsports to race the #14 Toyota Camry at Daytona International Speedway on February 20th in the XFINITY Series Powers Shares QQQ 300.

Gordon, in conjunction with his longtime sponsor and friend, Frank Varischetti are once again teaming up to try and better their 5th place finish in July of 2015 at the famed Daytona International Speedway. The TriStar #14 Toyota Camry will have veteran crew chief Eddie Pardue calling the shots for Gordon. Gordon will also have teammate David Starr to draft and compare notes with. Benny Gordon returns to the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) this weekend to drive the No. 66 SRWR/VSI Toyota Camry at Richmond International Raceway (RIR).

The Virginia529 College Savings 250 on September 11, 2015 will mark Gordon’s 4th start in the 2015 season with Performance Energy Group. He piloted the No. 66 Camry in the NXS at Talladega Superspeedway, Daytona International Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway during the 2015 season, with his best finish of 5th at Daytona. Friday night’s race will mark Gordon’s third start at RIR.-Performance Energy Group

Benny Gordon finished fifth in Saturday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

He started the No. 66 SomersetRegionalWaterResources/VSIRacing Chevrolet Camaro 20th on the grid for the Subway Firecracker 250. He completed all laps of the 104-lap race. Gordon, who made two of the 15 series races so far this season, is currently 42nd in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

Benny Gordon has announced he will make his first start of the 2015 season this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway in the Winn-Dixie 300.

Gordon will be driving the #17 VSI - Somerset Regional Water Resources (SRWR) Toyota Camry. He is no stranger to speedway racing, considering he has made two starts at Daytona Int’l Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series in 2011 and 2014, capturing a top-10 finish. He has also made one start at Daytona’s 2.5 mile track in the NASCAR XFINITY Series during 2012, finishing 12th.-Vision Racing

Benny Gordon (No. 91 Toyota Camry) will miss the Nationwide Series Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

The team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. Based on NASCAR's time trial procedure, upon completion of the first round of qualifying, the 40 eligible cars for starting positions 1-40 is determined. His car was listed as 41st on the chart.

Benny Gordon will be in the cockpit of the No. 91 Toyota Camry for his second NASCAR Nationwide Series career start at the 2.5-mile tri-oval. The Pennsylvania native made his first NNS start at DIS in 2012. After starting the race from the 33rd position, Gordon matched his career best finish of 12th. Benny Gordon takes biggest hit in points after the Nationwide Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 24 Chevrolet 41st in the lineup and finished 25 laps down in 33rd place. He dropped the most (four positions) in the standings (to 16th) among the drivers who made all 6 races so far this season.

Benny Gordon makes the most improvement in the Nationwide Series after this weekend’s race.

His 24th place finish in the Ford EcoBoost 300 was 6 places better than his last NNS finish. This earned the No. 24 driver a $2,600 check and the Featherlite "Most Improved Driver" award. Gordon is 13th in the 2012 Nationwide Series point standings.

NASCAR has assigned Benny Gordon the No. 24 for the NASCAR Nationwide Series DRIVE4COPD300 and the remainder of the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Season.

Benny will be wheeling the #24 Toyota Camry around the tracks of the Nationwide Series. The Toyota being driven in Daytona has been purchased by Benny Gordon Racing from Michael Waltrip Racing. The team name is Horizon Sports Marketing, the drivers will be Benny Gordon, Amber Cope, and Angela
