Ryan Reed has competed at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) just once in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In 2014, he finished in the 17th position after starting 15th and fighting loose conditions much of the day.

His hometown of Bakersfield, California is located a little over two-and-a-half hours from ACS. Reed grew up attending races as a fan and watching his father race at the track. The No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team will run a chassis that was last on track in November 2014 at Homestead Miami Speedway and earned a 27th-place finish. The chassis also raced in Indianapolis in July and Kentucky in September, finishing 20th and 11th, respectively.-Roush Fenway Racing

In his last appearance at PIR, Reed’s 19th-place finish came after running in the top-15 the majority of the day. An unscheduled green flag pit stop late in the race relegated him to finish in the 19th-position. This is the Roush Fenway Racing No. 16 Lilly/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang driver's second top-10 finish in three races at Daytona International Speedway. He leads the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings by four points over Chris Buescher. Reed also won the Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award.

Ryan Reed has competed on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway (DIS) twice, earning a career-best finish of fourth in the July 2014 event after starting in the same position.

Reed made his first restrictor plate appearance at DIS one year ago, resulting in an 18th-place finish after starting 39th. In addition, he has one additional restrictor plate start at Talladega Superspeedway. In 2014, he led 29 laps at the track before being collected in a mid-race accident. He started the No. 16 ADA Drive to Stop Diabetes/Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang 11th on the grid for the Ford EcoBoost 300. He moved up one spot to close out the season ninth in the 2014 Nationwide Series championship standings.

Last year, Reed started 19th and finished 13th. The No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes team brings Chassis RK-807 to the track for the third time this season. Ryan Reed finishes 19th in Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.

He started the No. 16 ADA Drive to Stop Diabetes presented by Lilly Ford Mustang 15th on the grid for the DAV 200 Honoring America's Veterans. He completed 204 laps of the 206 lap race. He is currently ninth in the 2014 Nationwide Series championship standings after the event.
