Ryan Reed started the NASCAR XFINITY Series Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway 15th in front of his hometown crowd and made the right adjustments throughout the race to secure a solid finish.
Extra time on pit road on the final stop to fix a tire rub due to contact, cost him valuable track position. The extended pit stop set him up 21st for the restart with six laps remaining. Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has competed at Auto Club Speedway (ACS) three times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

In 2014, he qualified 15th and finished 17th. He has steadily improved; in 2015, he qualified 12th and finish 11th. In 2016 Reed started 10th and overcame a pit road penalty to finish 14th. He has an average starting position of 12.3 and an average finishing position of 14.0 at the 2.0-mile track. Reed’s hometown of Bakersfield, Calif. is located a little over two-and-a-half hours from ACS. He grew up attending races as a fan and watching his father race at the track.-Roush Fenway Racing

Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) finished 11th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) DC Solar 200 at Phoenix Int’l Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.

He started 11th in the lineup and completed all of the 200 laps run. Reed is currently third in the 2017 NXS driver championship point standings after this event, 23 points behind leader Elliott Sadler.

Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has competed at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) seven times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

He finished sixth in the fall last year at Phoenix, his best finish at the 1.0-mile track. Reed qualified third for that race, which prior to his second-place starting position in Daytona this season, was his best XFINITY qualifying position. Ryan Reed started Saturday afternoon’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the 10th position and was a factor in the top-10 the majority of the 200-lap race.

Even a vibration mid-race and a loose handling No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang couldn’t keep him from persevering. Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has three starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS), finishing 15th in both 2014 and 2015, then 13th in 2016.

He also has one start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at LVMS in 2012 where he finished 17th after starting the race in the 18th position. On the heels of his win in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway, Ryan Reed earned a 10th-place starting spot.

In the opening stage the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang was too tight, costing Reed a few positions. He finished stage one 13th. Tight handling condition continued to worsen over stage two despite air pressure and wedge adjustments. In the final stage the team took a big swing with handling and it went from one extreme to the other. Reed brushed the wall in the closing run due to the loose handling condition, but was able to hang on to cross the finish line 18th.-Roush Fenway Racing

Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has three starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) with finishes of 18th in 2014, 16th in 2015 and 15th in 2016.

Ryan Reed won the Powershares QQQ 300, his second victory in 106 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.

This is the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang driver's second victory and fourth top-10 finish in seven races at Daytona International Speedway (DIS). Kasey Kahne (finished second) posted his 12th top-10 finish in 22 NXS races at DIS. Austin Dillon (third) posted his seventh top-10 finish in nine NXS races at DIS. William Byron (ninth) was the highest finishing rookie. Ryan Reed leads the NXS point standings by 9 points over Brendan Gaughan (fifth).

Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has six starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Daytona International Speedway (DIS).

In his six starts he has earned one win, two top-five and three top-10 finishes. In 2015 Reed captured his first NXS Series win in the season-opener at Daytona. He started eighth, led 14 laps and made a last-lap pass for the victory. 2016 Recap: Reed started the 120-lap event from the 11th position, but suffered some damage to the right-rear during a caution early on in the race. In his three previous starts, his best finish of 13th came in 2013. In this race last season, Reed started and finished 17th. Last weekend at Phoenix Raceway, Reed earned a career-best third-place starting position for the Chase elimination race. He started third on the grid and completed all of the 200 laps run. Reed is ranked sixth in the 2016 NXS Championship standings after this event. Since this was the elimination race for the Chase Round of 8, only the top four continue to the season-ending Chase Championship 4 round at Homestead-Miami Speedway next weekend to compete for the title.
