Ryan Reed returns behind the wheel of the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang in 2016 for his third full-time season of NASCAR XFINITY Series competition.
The 22-year-old Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) driver from Bakersfield, Calif. captured his first career win in the 2015 season-opener at Daytona International Speedway and hopes to duplicate that success in 2016 with his sights ultimately set on winning a championship. After coming out of the gates with a win and the points lead, Reed went on to record top finishes of 11th at Fontana, Dover, Chicago and Charlotte and amassed a total of 16 laps lead for the season. Reed, who will make his 73rd career start when the green flag drops at Daytona, expects more out of himself this season.-RFR Feb 10 - 8:47 PM

Roush Fenway Racing team officials confirmed Thursday that Phil Gould, who spent this past season as crew chief for Elliott Sadler, will take over the same role for driver Ryan Reed in the XFINITY Series. Sadler has since moved to JR Motorsports.

Reed (#16 Ford Mustang), in his second full season in the series, won the season opener at Daytona – his only top-10 finish of the season – and finished 10th in the series standings.-Motorsports.com

Ryan Reed (#16 Lilly/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang) finished 17th in the November 21st NASCAR XFINITY Series season-ending Ford EcoBoost 300 at Florida's Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The Roush Fenway Racing driver started 17th in the lineup and completed 199 laps of the 200-lap event. Reed, who competed in all of the season's 33 races, scored one win (Daytona on February 21st), one top-five, one top-10 and closed out the season 10th in the final 2015 XFINITY Series driver championship standings.

Ryan Reed has competed at Homestead Miami Speedway (HMS) twice in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

In 2013, he finished 13th after starting 19th. In 2014, he finished 27th after starting 11th and suffering a flat tire in the closing laps of the race while running in the top 10. Started 20th on the grid and completed 194 laps of the 200-lap race. Reed, who has competed in all 32 series races so far this season, is currently 10th in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings.

Ryan Reed has competed at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) four times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS).

In March, he finished 13th after starting 17th. In 2014, he earned 22nd- and 19th-place finishes in the spring and fall races, respectively. One of Reed’s first NXS starts came at PIR in 2013, where he finished 15th. Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team finished 17th on Saturday at Kansas Speedway in the Kansas Lottery 300.

He started the 200-lap event from the 17th position after making it through to the second round of group qualifying with a loose-handling racecar on Saturday afternoon. Reed remains 10th in the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings after Saturday’s race.-RFR

Ryan Reed returns behind the wheel of the Lira Motorsports No. 38 Ford Fusion in the ARCA Racing Series for the season finale this Friday night at Kansas Speedway.

He has one ARCA start at Kansas in 2012, recording a 10th-place finish. Reed will attempt to make it three-for-three in the ARCA win column after taking home the victory at Chicagoland Speedway and Kentucky Speedway earlier this season. He will return to his No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang for Roush Fenway Racing for 200 laps of NASCAR XFINITY Series action on Saturday. Ryan Reed has four starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, recording his best finish of 12th in the May 2015 event.

In that race, he started 10th and fought loose conditions for much of the afternoon. The team made the necessary adjustment to put Reed in position to fight for a finish just outside of the top 10. Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang) finished 25th on Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway after sustaining significant damage on Lap 2.

He started off the day on Saturday by winning the 100-lap ARCA Racing Series Crosley 150 in the No. 38 Lilly Diabetes Lira Motorsports Ford Fusion. One lap after the field took the green flag for the 200-lap XFINITY Series event, Reed was collected in an incident that left major damage to the right front and entire left side of the No. 16 machine. After several pit stops for repairs, Reed finished six laps down to the leaders in 25th place. He remains 10th in the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings.-Roush Fenway Racing

NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Ryan Reed went to victory lane Saturday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway, winning his second race of the 2015 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season.

Reed, in the No. 38 Lilly Diabetes-MOMO-TraqGear-Ford Performance Ford for Lira Motorsports, won the Crosley Brands 150 over Travis Braden and David Levine. In June, he won the ARCA SCOTT 150 at Chicagoland Speedway behind the wheel of the No. 58 machine for Lira Motorsports. ARCA Racing Series point leader Grant Enfinger finished the Crosley Brands 150 in fifth place and widened his lead to more than 300 points with one race to go on the 2015 ARCA season. -ARCA Racing Series
