Hal Martin is making his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start of the 2014 season this weekend at Iowa Speedway.

Martin will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 American Custom Yachts Camry in his first start at the "Fastest Short-Track on the Planet." Although this is Martin's inaugural event at the 7/8-mile oval, he has one previous start at the speedway with ASA (American Speed Association) in 2009. In his three short-track starts in the Nationwide Series, Martin has an average start of 27.7 and an average finish of 28.3.-TriStar Motorsports NC

U.S Forensic will sponsor Hal Martin's No.44 TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry during the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

This week, the No.44 U.S. Forensic Toyota Camry team will use chassis number 117. This car was last used by Martin at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, resulting in a 23rd place finish for Martin.

Hal Martin heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway's Championship Weekend after a week off from competition.

After a qualifying effort placed him 34th on his second grid in NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway, the bayou native battled back from handling issues all day for a 30th place finish. This week, the only current Louisiana driver in any of NASCAR's elite three series hopes to continue to build track skills as he finishes his three-race debut of 2012; but also have a learning experience going into his bid for NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2013.-Girl Friday PR

Hal Martin will be making his first Nationwide Series career appearance at Kansas Speedway.

Martin's primary sponsor, American Custom Yachts, will don the hood of the No. 44 this weekend.
