Kevin Swindell and the #98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing team will take to the track this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

This will be the first race of the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Series season for Swindell and the team. The Sam's Town 300 will mark Swindell's first time racing at the Las Vegas 1.5-mile oval. The Biagi-DenBeste Racing team has previously raced at the track five times, with a top finish of 18th. In Swindell's two 1.5-mile starts for the team last season, he completed 99.8% of the laps and scored one top-10 finish.(Biagi-DenBeste PR)-jayski.com

Kevin Swindell - Biagi-DenBeste Racing-98-NNS

After competing for NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) team Biagi-DenBeste Racing last year at Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kevin Swindell will return to the team for select NNS races in 2013.

The team plans to compete in 15 NNS events this season and will first race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 9. Swindell, a sprint car standout, has been building his stock car experience, competing in the NNS, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the ARCA Racing Series, earning his first NASCAR pole in 2010 and taking home his first stock car win last year at Chicagoland Speedway. After competing in the NNS in 2002-2006, Biagi-DenBeste Racing returned to the series for select races in 2012. In addition to bringing back Swindell as the driver, Steve Plattenberger will continue to serve as the Team Manager and Competition Director with Jon Hanson as the crew chief.
