Due to the passing of Kevin O'Connell's mother, he will be unable to drive the #74 at Watkins Glen.

One of the ‘go-or-go-homers’ required to qualify on speed, he ran a 38th fastest lap in the No. 74 Chevrolet SS. This was not good enough to make the 40-car field.

The No. 71 driver's lap of 115.954 mph was 41st fastest in qualifying for the the Nationwide Series Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway. He will line up 43rd at the green flag.
