Intense cloud cover and intermittent rain at Autódromo Miguel E. Abed washed out NASCAR Toyota Series Qualifying for the Puebla 240.

The starting lineup for Sunday's event will be set according to Owner Points, as set forth by the series rule book. Rafael Martinez and Antonio Perez will begin the Puebla 240 in the front row, followed by Homero Richards and Ruben Garcia Jr. in the second row and Ruben Pardo and Rodrigo Peralta in the third row. Daniel Suarez, who led both practice sessions earlier in the day, will join Hugo Oliveras in the fourth row, while Ruben Rovelo and Jose Luis Ramirez round out the top 10.

Rafael Martinez, driver of the No. 18 Mazda completed 199 laps in two hours and thirty minutes of intense racing at the Super Ovalo Chiapas for his 19th career victory.

He held off fierce challenges from Ruben Pardo and Antonio Perez, both of whom made a claim to the top spot late in the race before settling for second and third respectively. The RedCo 240 was the ninth race on the docket for the Toyota Series, with the upcoming Mexico Fest 200 in Mexico City marking the 10th, and final race prior to the "Desafio," a NASCAR Chase-type scenario that will take place over the final five races.
