Jimmy Weller finished 33rd in Friday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Richmond (VA) International Raceway.
He started the No. 90 Geneva Liberty Steel Chevrolet Camaro 34th on the grid for the ToyotaCare 250. He completed 240 laps of the 250 lap race. Jimmy Weller will compete in his second of at least four planned XFINITY Series races for the 2015 season this weekend at Richmond.

Earlier this year, he made his season debut at Atlanta where he qualified 28th. In that event, Weller cut a tire and sustained moderate damage to his car, which resulted in a 33rd-place finish for the King Autosports team. Weller will make his second NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Richmond on Friday night. Last season, the Hubbard, Ohio native suffered a mechanical failure coming to the green flag, which immediately ended his night. However, the driver does have some success in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East at the 0.75-mile track, including top-20 finishes in both starts at the Virginia short track.-A2B Strategies LLC

After making his debut in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway last season, Jimmy Weller will return to the series to compete on a limited basis in 2015.

The Hubbard, Ohio native will drive the No. 90 Geneva-Liberty Steel / My Video Library / Weller-Hughes General Contracting & Developing Chevrolet Camaro for King Autosports. He currently has four races included on his 2015 schedule, beginning with the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, February 28. In addition to the race at Atlanta, the rookie's schedule will be rounded out with NASCAR XFINITY Series events at Richmond, Charlotte and Indianapolis. Jimmy Weller was credited with a 30th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

He started the No. 08 Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado 18th on the grid for the fred's 250. He made it to lap 26 of the 95 lap event before exiting the race (Engine). Weller, who made 10 of the 18 races this season, is currently 26th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings after the event.

Jimmy Weller is a big fan of superspeedway racing. After recording a career-best finish in the season-opening race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, he is hoping to repeat that run in his No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado this weekend.

Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be Weller's first race of any kind at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. The No. 08 team will compete with chassis No. 1117 on Saturday at Talladega. It is the same truck that Weller drove to a career-best finish of ninth earlier this year at Daytona.-A2B Strategies, LLC

Jimmy Weller (No. 77 JoeDance Chevrolet Camaro) will miss the Nationwide Series Drive for the Cure at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The team is outside the top 30 in owner’s points and not guaranteed a start in this weekend’s NNS race. Based on NASCAR’s time trial knockout procedure, upon completion of the first round of qualifying, the 40 eligible cars for starting positions 1-40 is determined. His car was listed as 41st on the chart.

Jimmy Weller will make his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday driving the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado for SS Green Light Racing.

While Weller has never competed on the 1.5-mile speedway in the Nevada desert, he has competed on similar intermediate tracks across the country. Now a fan of racing on both dirt and asphalt, Jimmy Weller, the Hubbard, Ohio native will have a special kind of 'double duty' on Saturday, August 16.

Jimmy Weller, driver of the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado, will turn his first laps in a truck this week at Dover International Speedway.

However, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Sunoco Rookie contender does have some experience at the track known as "The Monster Mile" in a K&N Pro Series East racecar. Jimmy Weller and the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado team finished 25th at Kansas Speedway on Friday evening.

After qualifying and racing inside the top 20, Weller cut a left rear tire on lap 48 and was sent spinning into the outside retaining wall. With significant damage to the rear end of his truck, Weller and his SS Green Light Racing team were forced to retire from the event.-A2B Strategies LLC
