Now a fan of racing on both dirt and asphalt, Jimmy Weller, the Hubbard, Ohio native will have a special kind of 'double duty' on Saturday, August 16.

He will race the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel/Integrated Metal Products Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Michigan International Speedway. He will immediately travel back to Hartford, Ohio to race the No. 23 Liberty Steel Products/TFI Transportation/Hughes Construction big block dirt modified for his family's team at Sharon Speedway.-A2B Strategies, LLC

Jimmy Weller will make his very first start, in any series, at Kentucky Speedway on Thursday, June 26 while driving the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel / Integrated Metal Products Chevrolet Silverado for SS Green Light Racing.

After spending time in NASCAR's developmental ranks, Weller's 2014 race schedule is focused on learning NASCAR's intermediate tracks-those facilities that are 1.5-miles and larger. Most recently, he competed with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway where he finished in the 17th position. Jimmy Weller and the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel / Integrated Metal Products Chevrolet Silverado team finished 17th on Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway.

After qualifying in the 23rd position, Weller was happy with the handling of his truck by the time the green flag waved. Weller's team worked through some challenges with the balance of their race truck to come home with Weller's third top-20 finish in just five NCWTS races.-A2B Strategies LLC

Jimmy Weller, driver of the No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado, will turn his first laps in a truck this week at Dover International Speedway.

However, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Sunoco Rookie contender does have some experience at the track known as "The Monster Mile" in a K&N Pro Series East racecar. Jimmy Weller and the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado team finished 25th at Kansas Speedway on Friday evening.

After qualifying and racing inside the top 20, Weller cut a left rear tire on lap 48 and was sent spinning into the outside retaining wall. With significant damage to the rear end of his truck, Weller and his SS Green Light Racing team were forced to retire from the event.-A2B Strategies LLC

Jimmy Weller will climb back in a truck for the SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway on Friday, May 9.

The race will mark his second start this season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and his first career start at Kansas Speedway. Making his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in a joint effort between Viva Motorsports and SS Green Light Racing, a mechanical failure caused Weller to struggle shifting through the gears while coming to the green flag and ultimately brought his race to an early end after just one lap.-A2B Strategies LLC

Jimmy Weller (No. 55 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Camaro) will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this weekend at Richmond International Raceway.

Since the beginning of 2013, the Hubbard, Ohio native has made six starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he competes part-time (most recently at Daytona; finished 9th). He may be new to the Nationwide Series, but Weller has two NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts at the Richmond, Va. speedway. After finishing 12th in his first race at the track in 2012, Weller returned to the venue in April 2013. SS Green Light racing is pleased to announce that Ohio native Jimmy Weller will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team for 2014.

He spent 2013 splitting time racing near his Ohio home and the SS Green Light Racing shop making five starts for the Mooresville, NC based team including a best finish of 17th at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He will compete in a minimum of twelve races in the No. 08 Silverado beginning with the 2014 opening Nextera Energy Resources 250 at Daytona.
