The lap of 132.448 mph in the #2 Ruud Chevrolet Camaro was the best of the 39 cars completing laps in this session. #18 Sam Hornish Jr., #20 Erik Jones, #1 Elliott Sadler and #19 Daniel Suarez are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. Mike Harmon in the #74 Dodge was the slowest.

Richard Childress Racing added Ben Kennedy, Sam Hornish Jr., AJ Allmendinger and Michael McDowell to its 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) team roster to drive the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro in races at Iowa Speedway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America and Kentucky Speedway.

Kennedy will to pilot the Ruud Chevrolet at Iowa Speedway on June 19. The 24-year-old driver currently competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and will make his NXS debut with the Welcome, N.C.-based organization.
