This will be Ben Kennedy's first start at the 2.0-mile D-shaped Brooklyn, Michigan oval.

Kennedy and the No. 31 Heater.com crew will utilize chassis TSM-214 this week at Michigan International Speedway. The truck known to TSM as "Honey Badger" is a favorite of the No. 31 crew after it was driven to victory in all four of James Buescher's wins in 2012 on the way to taking the NCWTS title. Kennedy most recently ran this chassis at Dover International Speedway, where he captured a seventh-place finish.-Turner Scott Motorsports

Ben Kennedy finishes 13th in Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.

He started the No. 31 Heater.com Chevrolet Silverado 4th in the lineup for the Pocono Mountains 150. He is currently 7th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings after this event. Kennedy also won the Sunoco Rookie of the Race award for being the highest finishing ROTY contender in the race.

This will be the first event at the Tricky Triangle for Ben Kennedy, who heads into the race with one top-five and five top-10 finishes in 2014.

Ben Kennedy will be making his first-career start at the intermediate track, Texas Motor Speedway.

Kennedy's best start and finish at a 1.5-mile track came earlier this season at Charlotte (started sixth and finished eighth). Previous Race Recap...In his first-ever NCWTS race at Dover, Kennedy showed that persistence and experience could pay dividends. He, who came into the Lucas Oil 200 with three NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races in Dover under his belt, faced challenging and changing track conditions.
