Mason Mingus finishes 22nd in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio.

He started the No. 35 Toyota Tundra 12th in the lineup for the 1-800 Car Cash Mudsummer Classic. He is currently 13th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings after this event.

He started 18th and finished 10th. This was ahead of the rest of the 2014 Rookie of the Year contenders. Kennedy moved up 10 spots to 16th in the 2014 Camping World Truck Series point standings.

Mason Mingus, who finished second in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards final point standings in 2013 for Win-Tron Racing, will compete full-time this season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and contend for Rookie of the Year honors.

Mingus, 19, will drive Win-Tron’s No. 35 entry in all 22 races this year, beginning with next month’s season-opener, the NextEra Energy Resources 250 from Daytona International Speedway on February 21.

Mason Mingus (32 Toyota) battled eventual champion Frank Kimmel from the start of the 2013 season.

He was tied with Kimmel for first place in the point standings after Mobile International Speedway and remained near the top the rest of the season. He won poles at Mobile and Iowa and will be the Menards Pole Award recipient Saturday. Mingus now has 25 top 10 finishes in his 32 career ARCA Racing Series starts. Mason Mingus is ready to jump back into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.

Mingus, fresh off his runner-up finish in the 2013 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menard season, will race in the Lucas Oil 150 Friday night. It will be the first race at Phoenix for Mingus. He will be racing in a Win-Tron Racing truck (35 Chevrolet Silverado) with crew chief Mark Rette. The Brentwood, Tenn. driver was at Talladega Superspeedway last month but his day ended after only a few laps.

ARCA Racing Series regular Mason Mingus runs quickest Talladega qualifying lap of the Camping World Truck Series go-or-go-homer drivers.

Of the teams required to make the field on speed, the lap of 174.541 mph in the No. 35 Chevrolet Silverado was the fastest. His qualifying speed puts him 12th in the lineup for the fred’s 250.

Win-Tron Racing will compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series fred’s 250 at Talladega Superspeedway on October 19 with development driver Mason Mingus.

Mingus, in his first full season of competing on the ARCA Racing Series, has assembled 20 starts, two poles, five top-fives and 17 top-10 finishes. He is second in the championship standings in the arrears to nine-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel. In May, he made his Talladega debut driving the No. 32 Toyota Camry for the veteran ARCA team. After qualifying on the outside pole, he led 11 laps and drafted to the runner-up spot (second) to Kimmel.

Mason Mingus (32 Toyota) won his second Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell Saturday afternoon and will start up front for the Prairie Meadows 150 at Iowa Speedway.

Mingus turned the top qualifying lap of 24.179 seconds, or 130.278 mph. He was the only driver to top the 130-mph threshold. He also won the pole for the second race of the 2013 season at Mobile International Speedway.
