In addition to his two NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West victories, Greg Pursley (selected Top Driver) finished in the top five in 11 of the 14 races and collected three Coors Light Pole Awards.
He led a series-high 454 laps and completed 1,800 of the 1,804 laps of competition for crew chief Jerry Pitts and Price’s No. 26 Gene Price Motorsports/Star Nursery/Real Water Ford. Pursley won the first race at Bakersfield’s Kern County Raceway Park and only a late-race penalty for jumping the restart prevented a sweep of the California track. He added a win as the highest finishing West driver at Iowa Speedway in August. Pursley logged 16 races in parts of four seasons between 1999 and 2008, including a full year in 2002 when he finished ninth in points. Facing off with some of the best young talent in NASCAR, Greg Pursley out-ran them all.

The 46-year-old from Newhall, California, driver finished ninth in Thursday night's Casino Arizona 100 at Phoenix International Raceway, to put the finishing touches on his second NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship. In the media center after the race, Pursley said that's it for him. "As of right now, I guess I'm retired," said Pursley, who now lives in Parker, Arizona. "I’m very happy to go out as the champion on top." Pursley has collected 17 wins in 58 races in the past four years, winning two championships and finishing second (2012) and third (2013) in the other two years.

Greg Pursley wins the Coors Light Pole Award for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West EnergySolutions Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park (Tooele, UT).

The No. 26 GPM/Star Nursery/ Real Water Ford driver clocked the fastest lap time (1 minute 33.953 seconds) to win his third pole of the season and 20th of his career. This is Pursley's second pole at Miller Motorsports Park. Greg Pursley finishes 9th at Iowa Speedway NASCAR K&N Pro Series (Combined East/West) race at Iowa (Newton) Speedway.

He started the No. 26 GPM/Star Nursery/Real Water Ford 17th on the grid for the Autolite Iridium XP 150. Pursley, as the highest finished West driver, was credited with a victory for the K&N Pro West. He also added to his championship points lead, which is now 36 over Dylan Lupton (finished 27th) and 42 over Brandon McReynolds (14th).
