Six-time ARCA Racing Series winner Brennan Poole has signed on to run a partial schedule with Team BCR Racing in 2015.

The new union will begin in February at Daytona Int’l Speedway where the team picked up their first win of the 2014 season in the Lucas Oil 200. Poole began his ARCA Racing Series career in 2011, winning at Salem Speedway in his series debut. The 23-year-old driver went onto win five more races most recently at Kentucky Speedway in 2014. Poole had driven for Venturini Motorsports. The agreement calls for a minimum of 10 races in 2015. If additional funding is secured, the team will plan to run for the 2015 Championship.-ARCA Racing

Brennan Poole spun out in practice, qualified eighth and was stuck behind Venturini Motorsports’ teammate Daniel Suarez late in Friday’s ZLOOP 150.

It seemed unlikely that he would leave Kentucky Speedway with a win, but that’s just what he did, capturing his sixth career victory. "Everything just unfolded for me," a jubilant Poole said. "I love it when that happens. I’m so happy to get to victory lane for Venturini. It feels really, really nice. It’s just so special to win here. I can’t believe we won at Kentucky!" Poole wasn’t expected to race Friday, but when Venturini driver John Wes Townley had a scheduling conflict, he stepped in the seat of the No. 15 Zaxby’s Toyota. The move paid off as Poole led the final 27 laps for the win.

Brennan Poole wasn’t intending to enter today’s race at Salem Speedway, but when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race was postponed from Friday to tonight, the driver of the No. 15 Zaxby’s Toyota – John Wes Townley – had a scheduling conflict.

Venturini Motorsports will instead put Poole behind the wheel of the No. 15 at Salem. Poole has five ARCA wins in 33 career starts and 25 top 10 finishes. His last win came at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Ill. in 2013.-ARCA Racing

Poole, who claimed a fourth-place finish in the ARCA event at Pocono last week, will pilot the No. 15 Zaxby’s Toyota Camry. Brennan Poole’s sponsor for this weekend’s Pocono Raceway is The Identical Movie. So, was it really a surprise he put up the identical Menards Pole Qualifying time as polesitter Mason Mitchell?

Mitchell and Poole – a two-time pole winner at the 2.5-mile tricky triangle – both put up a time of 53.284 seconds, or 168.906 mph. Because Mitchell’s No. 98 Musselman's-Wildlife Foundation of Florida-TTS Ford is higher in the owner point standings, he wins the pole and the 15 bonus points heading into tonight’s ModSpace 125 at Pocono Raceway. Justin Boston, a Venturini Motorsports teammate of Poole, will start third with Michael Lira fourth and Justin Allison fifth.-ARCA Racing News
