The friendship bond between two race car drivers will reach a new pinnacle level this weekend at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway when ARCA Racing Series driver Josh Williams pairs with Mario Gosselin's King Autosport for Saturday afternoon's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300.
Several of Williams' best finishes on the ARCA tour in 2013 and 2014 came under the guidance and direction of Gosselin. Despite no prior experience at Bristol, Williams is hoping that his short track success in ARCA will pay some dividends. For his third career NXS start, BuckedUp Apparel, a skyrocketing apparel company featuring their signature antlers with attitude motto will adorn the No. 90 Chevrolet Camaro in the second NXS Dash4Cash event of the year.-Josh Williams PR Apr 21 - 11:08 AM

After eight different winners in as many races, Williams, in his own No. 6 Southwest Florida Cable Construction Chevrolet, became the first repeat winner of the 2016 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season. Weatherman, in the No. 98 Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) Chevrolet, was catching the eventual winner in the end but fell short by three lengths at the checkered flag, finishing second in his first start with the MMM team.

On the heels of an 11th place finish at Pocono, Josh Williams and his No. 6 Josh Williams Motorsports (JWM) No. 6 Musselman’s Apple Sauce team are looking for a little more at Michigan…maybe a lot.

The team debuted a brand new composite bodied car at Pocono. Williams’ 11th place finish at Pocono snapped a three-race streak of finishes inside the top-10. The veteran ARCA driver has four prior starts at Michigan, earning two top-10 finishes in his last two Michigan starts. His best finish at the 2.0-mile track came last season where he finished sixth. Through seven events in 2016 Williams has one win (Nashville), two top-fives and four top-10 finishes. He currently sits second in championship standings, trailing leader Chase Briscoe by 50 points. This weekend also marks the fourth of six consecutive races for ARCA.
