In 2010, Camping World Truck Series regular Brendan Gaughan made his lone Nationwide Series appearance at the 14-turn Road America road course.
The Las Vegas native earned a third-place result after starting from the sixth position, completing 100 percent (50 of 50) of the laps contested. Brendan Gaughan earned his fifth-consecutive top-five finish of the season with a fifth-place result at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night.

Gaughan started the event fourth. The Las Vegas native maneuvered around his RCR teammate, Ty Dillon, on lap 79 to take over the lead and continued out front for the next 44 circuits. On lap 133, he brushed the outside retaining wall and forfeited the top spot. The incident caused the veteran driver to slip to the fifth spot, where he took the checkered flag.-Richard Childress Racing

Brendan Gaughan collected his fourth-consecutive top-five finish on Friday in the Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway.

He now ranks third in the NCWTS driver championship point standings, trailing leader Matt Crafton by 35 markers. According to NASCAR's post-race loop data statistics, Gaughan tied for second in Laps in Top 15 (198). He earned the sixth-best Average Running Position (7.470), had the seventh-best Driver Rating (100.2), was the seventh-Fastest Driver Early in a Run (145.488 mph), seventh-Fastest on Restarts (142.027 mph) and posted six of the Fastest Laps Run, tying him for eighth in the loop data category.-Richard Childress Racing

Brendan Gaughan will make his eighth Camping World Truck Series appearance at the one-mile Dover oval on Friday afternoon.

Since 2002, the Las Vegas native has collected two top-10 finishes, holds an 18th-place average starting position coupled with an average finishing position of 17.6 and has completed 1,154 of 1,400 (82.4 percent) of the laps contested. He hopes to capitalize on the momentum he has with three consecutive top-five finishes. Brendan Gaughan won the Mobil 1 Command Performance Driver of the Race award at Charlotte.

The award is given to the winner of the race or the next-highest finishing driver displaying the Mobil 1 decal. He earned the award for his second place finish in the N.C. Education Lottery 200 after leading 15 laps. The driver of the No. 62 Chevrolet Silverado moved up three spots to fourth in the 2013 NCWTS point standings.

Brendan Gaughan will make his 13th-career Camping World Truck Series appearance at the half-mile Martinsville facility.

He has collected four top-10 finishes, has a 25.5 average starting position, 14.3 average finishing position, completed 99.9 percent (2,704 of 2,706) laps contested and has been credited with seven laps led. His best start of fourth came in 2003, while he earned his best finish of sixth in 2006. He will pilot Chassis No.033. Camping World Truck Series regular, Brendan Gaughan, will make his fourth Nationwide Series appearance at his hometown track this Saturday.

In three previous NNS starts at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Las Vegas native is credited with seven laps led, one top-five and two top-10 finishes. His best Nationwide Series start of ninth, and finish of fifth, came in 2012 when he piloted an RCR-prepared machine. Brendan Gaughan was relegated to a 29th-place finish following a mid-race, multi-truck accident during the NCWTS season opener at Daytona.

The No. 62 driver started from the 15th position. While vying for position within the top 10, Gaughan was caught between two of his fellow competitors creating a multi-truck accident that sent the RCR Chevrolet to the garage for repairs. Gaughan returned to the track 20 laps down from the leader. Despite a valiant effort by the team, Gaughan crossed the finish line 29th, 26 laps off of the lead lap. Gaughan has earned one top-10 finish, completed 667 of 820 (83.1 percent) laps, holds a 20.4 average starting position and an average finishing position of 22.2. Gaughan will pilot Chassis No.053 from the RCR NASCAR Camping World Truck Series stable in the NextEra Energy 250. Brendan Gaughan will reunite with crew chief Shane Wilson to run a full season and compete for the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship in Richard Childress Racing's No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Silverado.

Driving for RCR in 2012, the Las Vegas native competed in eight NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races (three top-five and five top-10 finishes) and 10 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. He has competed in six full seasons in the Camping World Truck Series since he made his series debut in 1997. Brendan Gaughan won two race awards in the Nationwide Series Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The driver of the No. 33 Chevrolet won the $2,000 Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award. He also won the $2,600 Featherlite Most Improved Driver award since his third place finish was 23 places better than his last NNS race.

Brendan Gaughan won his first Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in 2002 and went on to win the next three consecutive events at the track.

He is the only driver to sweep four consecutive Truck Series events at the 1.5-mile facility.
