Eric Holmes led the way in NASCAR K&N Pro Series West practice for the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Toyota on Saturday at Evergreen Speedway.

Holmes, out of Escalon, Calif., rolled around the .646-mile Western Washington track in 23.616 seconds (98.476 mph) behind the wheel of his No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota. Holmes won this race a season ago. The second-fastest driver over the two 45-minute practice sessions was Michael Self, who recorded a time of 23.832 seconds (97.853 mph) followed by points leader Derek Thorn with a time of 23.864 seconds (97.452 mph).
