Ed Hakonson Racing/Team 3 Red will be embarking on a new journey in 2018. Long time EHR driver Jason Hathaway, who stepped away from full time competition at the end of 2016, will now be overseeing a new talent behind the wheel in Cole Powell in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
The Mount Brydges, Ontario driver will race the #3 Chevrolet Camaro for the entire 2018 season. Cole will embark on a grueling 13 race schedule across Canada which will visit five provinces and one American state. Cole has made his way up through the ranks beginning in 2006 at Grand Bend Speedway in the Pro Mini Truck division and moving up to full size trucks at Delaware Speedway in 2007 gaining valuable seat time on a fast half mile.-Team3Red Apr 18 - 2:42 PM

2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship team, Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM), has announced that Canadian racer Cole Powell will drive the team’s No. 78 Chevrolet in the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway. Powell will receive support from longtime supporters Tricar and Copps Buildall.

Powell will look to make his third Daytona ARCA start and fourth start at a restrictor plate track. Powell’s best finish came last season at Talladega, finishing a career-best third. MMM had a successful test session last month at Daytona, capturing the top-four positions overall. In their second year as a team, MMM captured three wins at Winchester, Iowa and Kansas in 2015, Mitchell the winner at Iowa and Kansas and Austin Wayne Self the winner at Winchester. MMM’s two years in the series has produced four wins overall among 22 top-five finishes, 35 top-10s, and five Menards pole awards, plus the 2014 ARCA championship.

Cole Powell finished third in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series race at Talladega (AL) Superspeedway.

He started the No. 58 Gary Yeomans Ford 21st on the grid for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200. He completed all laps of the 79 lap event. Powell, who made two of five series races so far this season, is currently 24th in the 2015 ARCA Racing Series championship standings.

Lira Motorsports is excited to announce the addition of Cole Powell to its ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver line-up.

Powell will be joining the team for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 at Talladega Superspeedway May 1. The Mount Brydges, Ontario driver has two previous ARCA Racing Series starts at Daytona International Speedway in 2014 and 2015. Before making his ARCA debut in 2014, Powell won NASCAR Whelen Modified Rookie of the Year honors in 2013, becoming the first Canadian to capture this title. The 22-year old racer's Lira Motorsports Ford Fusion will carry primary sponsorship from Gary Yeomans Ford in Daytona Beach, Fla. and Ford Performance.

During his second ARCA Racing Series start at Daytona, Cole Powell finished 20th after having a strong run in the top-5 throughout the race.

Starting the Lucas Oil 200 in 38th position, he had to rely on strategy to make his way up to the front. An early caution came out on lap 13, allowing the team to pit the No. 88 Tricar Casite Ford for fuel and adjustments. It was sent back out to the 25th position to restart on lap 19. The second caution of the race came out on lap 33, giving Powell the chance to make up positions while the leaders pit. He restarted 2nd on lap 38 and kept inside the top-10 until getting shuffled up during a final restart on lap 64, finishing the race up in 20th.-Team BCR Racing

To kick off the 2015 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season, Cole Powell will return to the series with Team BCR Racing and Development Team for the Lucas Oil 200 presented by AutoZone.

Powell made his ARCA Racing Series debut in 2014 at Daytona International Speedway, running in the top-10 during both practice sessions, but unfortunately was involved in a multi-car incident early in the race. The Canadian driver will return to the "World Center of Racing" with Team BCR Racing piloting the No. 88 Tricar Group, Ford Fusion with his goals set on nothing short of capturing the checkered flag.-Team BCR Racing

Canadian driver, Cole Powell has signed with Team BCR Racing and Development Team to drive the #88 Tricar Ford Fusion at Daytona International Speedway for the Lucas Oil 200.

Before making his Daytona debut in 2014, Powell was named the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Rookie of the Year; the first Canadian to win this title. To finish off his 2014 season, Powell competed in various events in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series with a second place finish at the Famous Bowman Grey Stadium. He also raced at Delaware Speedway in a Pro Late Model, collecting 1 win and three 2nd place finishes. Powell will make his first start with Team BCR in the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway on February 14, 2015. Cole Powell finishes seventh in Thursday night's NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour season-ending race at the quarter-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 73 Copp's BuildAll/Tricar Chevrolet fourth in the lineup for the Southern Slam 150. Powell, who made only four of the 14 series races, finished the season 19th in the 2014 NWSMT point standings.

Cole Powell finishes 2nd in Saturday night's NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour race at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC.

He started the 73 Copp's BuildAll/Tricar/Powell racing Chevrolet 7th in the lineup for the 199. He is currently 19th in the 2014 NWSMT point standings after this event.

Cole Powell advance notes on the Feb. 18 non-points UNOH Battle At The Beach between the NASCAR Whelen Modified and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tours on the .37 mile short track at Daytona.

Powell (No. 73 Copps BuildAll/Tricar Developments Chevrolet), the 2013 NWMT Sunoco Rookie of the Year, has one top 10 in 17 career NWMT starts and five top 10s in seven NWSMT appearances. Placed third in each of the last two NWSMT races at Bowman Gray but has an average finish of 17th in four career NWMT bullring events. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour 2013 Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award has been clinched by Cole Powell.

Powell, from Mount Brydges, Ontario, has captured Sunoco Rookie of the Race honors in nine of 13 events this season behind the wheel of the No. 73 Copps BuildAll/Tricar Developments Chevrolet. The 21-year-old ranks 15th in the Whelen Modified Tour season standings with a best finish of ninth at Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway on Aug. 2.
