Scott Heckert (No. 34 Project Lifesaver Chevrolet) earned his first career victory at Watkins Glen on Aug. 8. Followed that up with a victory at Virginia International Raceway on Aug. 16.

Has two wins, three poles, five top fives and nine top 10s in 28 career K&N Pro Series East starts. Is eighth in the season standings. Finished 17th at Greenville Pickens Speedway earlier this season.

Scott Heckert may want to consider petitioning for more road course races to be added to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East calendar.

The 20-year-old Ridgefield, Connecticut, native took the lead late and survived a green-white-checkered finish for his second consecutive K&N Pro Series East win in the Biscuitville 125 at Virginia International Raceway. It was Heckert’s second victory on a road course: He won the Bully Hill Vineyards 125 at New York's Watkins Glen International one week ago in similar fashion, with a late lap pass for the lead. Heckert, who began the day by winning his third 21 Means 21 presented by Coors Brewing Co. Pole Award of the season, took the lead from Cameron Hayley on Lap 52 and never looked back.

Scott Heckert moved one step closer to scoring his second consecutive NASCAR K&N Pro Series East victory by winning the 21 Means 21 Pole Award during qualifying at Virginia International Raceway.

The Ridgefield, Connecticut, driver qualified in the final group of the session and finished with a fast time of 88.243 seconds (91.792 mph) to pick up his third pole award of his career and first since he took the top spot in qualifying at Columbus Motor Speedway in July.

It appears Scott Heckert is still riding the momentum of his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East win into today's Biscuitville 125 at Virginia International Raceway.

Heckert was fastest overall after two morning practice sessions at the 2.25-mile road course with a quick time of 87.742 seconds (92.316 mph). Cameron Hayley was second quick in the first session at 88.126 seconds (91.914 mph) which held up second fastest overall during both sessions. Series points leader Ben Rhodes was fastest in the final practice session and third overall at 88.633 seconds (91.388 mph).

In its first series race at Watkins Glen International since 2009, the NASCAR Pro Series East gave the fans a race finish to remember.

Second-year driver Scott Heckert was able to get past leader Andrew Ranger and second-place Cole Custer on restart of a green-white-checkered attempt to score his first career victory in the action-packed Bully Hill Vineyards 125 on Friday. For Heckert, it was his first win in 27 career K&N Pro Series East starts.

Scott Heckert won his second 21 Means 21 Pole Award in the last three NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races Saturday at Columbus Motor Speedway.

He paced the historic half-mile in 14.288 seconds (83.903 mph) in his No. 34 Project Lifesaver Chevrolet. The 20-year-old from Ridgefield, Conn., also won the pole at Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va. Rookie Nick Drake qualified second at 14.370 (83.424). Ryan Gifford qualified third at 14.450 (82.962) just ahead of his Rev Racing teammate Sergio Pena. Rev Racing has won two of the three NASCAR K&N Pro East races run at Columbus. Jesse Little, who is coming off his first NASCAR win last week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, rounded out the top five qualifiers.

Scott Heckert (No. 34 Chevrolet) is at the top of the speed chart in the lone practice leading to the K&N PS-East JEGS 150 at Columbus (Ohio) Motor Speedway.

The first practice was cancelled due to rain and the final practice was all that time allowed. Heckert put up an 84.256 mph lap. No. 31 Kaz Grala, No. 20 Gray Gaulding, No. 41 Ben Rhodes and No. 22 Austin Hill are the rest of the top five and No. 19 Chuck Buchanan was the slowest of the 23 cars running in this session.
