Wizards head coach Randy Wittman has not yet committed to using Kris Humphries as the team's full-time starting power forward.
Wittman added that he could use multiple starting lineups, so it sounds like there's a possibility that Humphries and Nene fluctuate in-and-out of the starting lineup depending on the matchup. This situation has timeshare written all over it, meaning that neither player will make for a strong late-round selection in standard leagues. Oct 8 - 3:30 PM

Kris Humphries will start at power forward, ahead of Nene, for Tuesday's preseason game vs. the 76ers.

Nene is healthy, and head coach Randy Wittman said not to make much of the Wizards' rotations during the early goings of preseason, so we won't. That being said, neither Humphries nor Nene make for very appealing plays in standard leagues.
Oct 6 - 6:45 PM

Kris Humphries stated during a recent interview that he will be looking to expend his range to beyond the 3-point arc this offseason.

"I never really worked on shooting threes and stuff. I started working on it this year," said Humphries. "I had a lot of success in the last month [practicing] or so I really working on it every day, continue to work on it next year, add to my game." Wizards' head coach Randy Wittman has been gravitating towards playing smaller and faster with shooters at the four-spot, and current starting center Marcin Gortat has expressed a desire to play alongside a stretch-four, so if Humphries wants more consistent minutes this is a part of his game he'll need to develop.
May 22 - 10:19 AM

Kris Humphries was a DNP-CD on Saturday against the Raptors.

Coach Randy Wittman went with Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden today. Humphries looks like he'll just be Nene insurance for now because all three aforementioned players had decent games today.
Apr 18 - 3:59 PM

Kris Humphries was limited to three points and four rebounds on Sunday, shooting 0-of-2 from the field and 3-of-6 from the free throw line in 15 reserve minutes.

Nene played well and showed no signs of his recent shoulder and knee injuries, and Drew Gooden (21 minutes) continues to thrive down the stretch, which is reducing Humphries to a bit-player in the rotation. Suffice to say, even his real-world value exceeds his fantasy appeal.
Apr 12 - 8:54 PM

Kris Humphries returned from a groin injury on Wednesday and had six points, a rebound, steal and block in 15 minutes.

Drew Gooden played 21 minutes and had 10 points, four rebounds and two 3-pointers, and Nene played just 13 minutes. Humphries probably isn't worth owning right now, but then again, none of the Wizards' power forwards are trustworthy right now, either.
Apr 1 - 10:59 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) will play against the 76ers on Wednesday.

He hasn't played since Feb. 25 and will likely have a restriction on his minutes. Humphries was playing around 18-20 minutes before his injury and could be back up around that time this weekend. Drew Gooden may lose some playing time.
Apr 1 - 5:18 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) went through a full practice on Tuesday, and said he thinks he'll be available to play Wednesday vs. the 76ers.

Humphries has spent the past month on the sidelines, so he's likely going to be eased back into the rotation. With season averages of just 8.1 points and 6.7 rebounds, it's safe to leave Humphries on the wire in nearly all leagues.
Mar 31 - 2:01 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) will not play vs. the Rockets on Sunday.

He hasn't played since Feb. 26 and he remains without a timetable to return. Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden will continue to see a few extra minutes off the bench, but both players are not options in standard leagues. Humphries can be dropped everywhere until he is cleared to play.
Mar 29 - 11:06 AM

Kris Humphries (groin) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hornets, as expected.

Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden will continue to split Humphries reserve minutes, but neither guy is worth owning in standard leagues. With no clear return date in site for Humphries, he belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 27 - 12:23 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) was unable to practice on Thursday.

Humphries was spotted going through a lot of individual work on Thursday, but his absence from practice would suggest he's doubtful for Friday's game vs. Charlotte. If he's unable to go, Drew Gooden and Kevin Seraphin will continue to split his reserve minutes. Seraphin can be viewed as a shot-blocking specialist in extremely deep leagues, while Humphries belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Mar 26 - 3:03 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) will sit out again vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.

He hasn't played since Feb. 26 and it's anyone's guess when he'll return to action, though it's somewhat encouraging that he's traveling with the team. Nene, Drew Gooden and Kevin Seraphin will continue to play a few extra minutes in Humphries' absence.
Mar 25 - 6:24 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) is doubtful to play vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.

He has been on the shelf since Feb. 26 and his recovery has been unusually slow, so we would be surprised if he managed to play tonight. We will know more closer to tip-off, but Humprhies still belongs on the wire in most leagues. Drew Gooden and Kevin Seraphin will continue to see a slight uptick in minutes off the bench if Humprhries can't play.
Mar 25 - 1:35 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) will not play against the Warriors on Monday.

He might miss the entire month of March and has been out since Feb. 26. Humphries can be ignored in most leagues. Marcin Gortat and Nene get a tough matchup tonight.
Mar 23 - 9:59 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game vs. the Kings.

There hasn't been a lot of information on Humphries' recovery and it's possible he sits out through the end of March. Humphries shouldn't be owners in just about any league right now, and his absence has opened up more minutes for Drew Gooden and Kevin Seraphin off the bench.
