Kris Humphries saw just 13 minutes in Friday's win over the Heat, scoring four points on 2-of-7 shooting with two rebounds and one assist.
Nene played 26 minutes off the bench and scored 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting, so perhaps he's healthy and ready to knock Humphries to the wire. With little upside to speak of, Humphries' owners shouldn't be afraid to move on. Dec 20 - 1:32 AM

Date:

Kris Humphries bounced back from a two-point, four-rebound game on Sunday with six points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes on Tuesday.

Nene is back, but Humps is still starting and should be owned in most leagues as long as that's the case.
Dec 16 - 9:33 PM

Kris Humphries scored two points on 1-of-4 shooting vs. the Jazz on Sunday, adding four rebounds, one assist and one block.

He logged 26 minutes and continues to start ahead of Nene (10 points, six boards in 23 minutes). Fantasy owners should stick with him a while longer in case coach Randy Wittman opts for Humphries as his full-time starter.
Dec 14 - 8:45 PM

Kris Humphries had a nice outing in 27 minutes against the Clippers on Friday with 11 points, eight rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block.

Nene played 23 minutes off the bench, scoring nine points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals. The Wizards were great in the paint and kept the Clippers to just 24 points in that area of the court. Humphries looks like he's stick in the starting lineup for now, so he's worth owning in 14-team leagues.
Dec 12 - 10:35 PM

Kris Humphries started and hit 5-of-12 shots for 11 points, three rebounds and no blocks in 28 minutes of Wednesday'a thrilling win over the Magic.

Nene played 21 minutes off the bench and had 12 points, six rebounds and a block after missing time with a sore knee. Nene could get his starting job back soon, but Humps may have earned at least a timeshare, and might have permanently stolen Nene's job. Humphries had been playing very well with Nene out, but came back to earth with Nene back tonight.
Dec 10 - 9:33 PM

Kris Humphries scored 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting with nine rebounds, two steals and one block over 43 minutes in Monday's double-overtime win over the Celtics.

Humphries now has three solid games in a row under his belt and Nene is out of shape. The Humph should probably be owned in most standard formats until the latter issue works itself out.
Dec 9 - 12:44 AM

Kris Humphries grabbed 14 rebounds with eight points, one assist, one steal and one block in 32 minutes against the Celtics on Sunday.

He continues to get more minutes than Nene and that'll likely remain for another week at least. Humphries had a 20-point game on Friday and a 20-board game on Wednesday, so it makes some sense to add him in in case you need the boards. Owners in standard leagues might want to shoot for a higher upside.
Dec 7 - 4:11 PM

Kris Humphries made another start for Nene on Wednesday and racked up six points, a season-high 20 rebounds, two steals and a block in 30 minutes.

He had eight points and five rebounds on Monday, but looked like a different player against the Lakers. As long as Nene's out, Humps is worth a look, but he likely had the best game of his season tonight.
Dec 3 - 10:54 PM

Kris Humphries started for Nene (plantar fasciitis) once again in the Wizards' 107-86 blowout win over the Heat on Monday, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes.

Humphries has not been able to capitalize on Nene's absence but he is well-positioned to do so since Nene seems like he's out 'indefinitely' rather than on a day-to-day basis. If he gets going owners in need of a big man should be ready to make a move.
Dec 1 - 10:46 PM

Kris Humphries had three points with three rebounds, one assist, one block and one turnover in 23 minutes against the Cavs on Wednesday.

He made 1-of-7 from the field tonight and was 2-of-7 in his first start on Tuesday, so the Wizards are missing Nene (foot) right now. The minutes are not going to be more than 25 while Nene is out, so he's more of a low-end plug and play. We don't expect Nene to be ready this weekend, though.
Nov 26 - 11:28 PM

Starting in place of Nene (foot) on Tuesday, Kris Humphries logged 22 minutes and had seven points (2-of-7 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds and three turnovers.

Humphries has been playing well off the bench since recovering from a hand laceration that limited him during the preseason, and he's worth a look in deeper leagues as long as Nene is on the sidelines. Just be mindful that he's a sub-par FT shooter who won't contribute much beyond points and rebounds.
Nov 25 - 9:49 PM

Kris Humphries will enter the starting lineup in place of Nene (foot) for Tuesday's game vs. the Hawks.

When given the minutes Humphries is a double-double threat, so he should serve as a fine plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Currently there is no timetable set for Nene's (foot) return, so if there's currently a guy on your roster you've been looking to cut, Humphries makes sense as a speculative add.
Nov 25 - 6:16 PM

Kris Humphries may start against the Hawks on Tuesday.

It's going to be him or Drew Gooden in place of Nene (foot) tonight. Humphries has played well in his brief time on the court with averages of 6.8 points, 4.7 boards and 0.5 blocks in 15.6 minutes. He should get minutes in the 20s tonight, which makes him a low-end stream play or an option in daily fantasy leagues. Check back later tonight for the starting lineups.
Nov 25 - 12:09 PM

Kris Humphries scored 12 points against the Bucks during a 111-100 win on Saturday to go with nine rebounds, one assist and one block.

Nene (foot) went down tonight and there is a very good chance he will miss time. Humphries has some upside to be a double-double guy with some defensive stats, so he's a speculative add in deeper leagues.
Nov 23 - 1:41 AM

Kris Humphries is emerging as part of the Wizards' rotation after being initially slowed by his hand injury.

Humphries was dealing with nerve damage in his right hand that required surgery, and now he's really starting to play the role Washington envisioned upon acquiring him in a sign-and-trade during the offseason. "He goes in there and just bangs," Randy Wittman said.
