Jameer Nelson (calf) will not play in either of the Nuggets final two games this season.
This is certainly not surprising, as Nelson was seen in a walking boot over the weekend. Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay will split minutes at point guard Tuesday vs. Dallas and Wednesday vs. OKC. Apr 11 - 12:24 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game in Dallas.

Nelson was spotted sporting a walking boot on Sunday, which is a pretty good indication that he won't be playing again this season with Denver officially out of the playoff hunt. Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) will continue to split the point guard minutes in his absence.
Apr 10 - 3:21 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) was spotted sporting a walking boot on Sunday.

While Nelson hasn't officially been ruled out for the rest of the regular season just yet, things aren't looking great for him with just two games left on the schedule. For now, we'll consider him doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, and if he's out again, it'll be Jamal Murray and Emmanuel Mudiay picking up the slack.
Apr 9 - 5:31 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) is listed as out for Sunday against the Thunder.

Emmanuel Mudiay is also banged up, so get ready for a lot of blue arrows to fly. Jamal Murray is coming off a career-high 30 points from Friday, so he'll have the spotlight on him against Russell Westbrook. If you added Murray this week for your championship, it might be the difference for you.
Apr 8 - 4:03 PM

Jameer Nelson (right calf) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. New Orleans.

Nelson played on Wednesday after missing the team's two previous games, but was unable to escape unscathed. Jamal Murray will once again replace Nelson in the starting lineup. Murray finished with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes when he started in place of Nelson on Tuesday vs. the Pelicans. Emmanuel Mudiay will back up Murray.
Apr 7 - 12:47 PM

Jameer Nelson (right calf) is not expected to play against the Pelicans on Friday.

He played 32 minutes in his return to the lineup on Wednesday, but apparently he's dealing with soreness or an aggravation. With Nelson likely out, that should push Jamal Murray back to the starting lineup with Emmanuel Mudiay behind him. Murray could be worth a look for his upside, but he hasn't played well in his four of his last five games.
Apr 6 - 5:41 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) returned to action on Wednesday with eight points on 3-of-9 shooting, two 3-pointers, five assists, two rebounds and three turnovers in 32 minutes.

Nelson started the game, shifting Jamal Murray to the bench, and his return puts a serious dent in Emmanuel Mudiay's appeal as an end-of-season addition. The Nuggets trail the Blazers by just one game for the No. 8 seed, so all signs point to Jameer playing his usual role as a starter down the stretch.
Apr 6 - 12:08 AM

Jameer Nelson (calf) will start Wednesday vs. the Rockets.

With Nelson back in the starting five, Jamal Murray will more than likely return to the bench, and Emmanuel Mudiay's minutes will take a decent sized hit. Nelson will be returning from a two-game absence, but there's been no discussion of a minutes limit, so feel free to get him active.
Apr 5 - 7:15 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) will warm up and try to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Assuming everything goes well in warmups, he'll be in the starting lineup and push Jamal Murray back to the bench. Nelson has missed the last two games with his calf strain from Friday. Fantasy owners will probably want to avoid this situation for now. Emmanuel Mudiay may get bumped from the rotation.
Apr 5 - 6:40 PM

Jammer Nelson (calf) is questionable for Wednesday against the Rockets.

He's missed the last two games due to a calf strain and is likely going to be a game-time call. If he can't go, it'll be Jamal Murray getting another start and Emmanuel Mudiay backing him up. Murray would make sense as a stream or DFS play in a high-paced matchup today.
Apr 5 - 2:14 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game vs. New Orleans.

This will be the second straight game Nelson has missed. Jamal Murray started in place of Nelson on Sunday and finished with nine points and three steals in 28 minutes. Surprisingly, Emmanuel Mudiay made the most of his return to the rotation, scoring 17 points and dishing out nine assists in 32 minutes.
Apr 4 - 12:07 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) and Will Barton (foot) are questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

With Nelson on the shelf on Sunday, Jamal Murray started at PG and scored nine points with zero assists, three steals and one triple in 28 minutes, while Emmanuel Mudiay came out of nowhere and scored 17 points with nine assists, four rebounds and a block in 32 minutes. With a playoff spot looking unlikely, the Nuggets may be cautious with Nelson and ride their young guys again.

Jameer Nelson (calf) and Will Barton (foot) will not play on Sunday vs. the Heat.

Nelson suffered a right calf strain on Friday and wasn't able to return, but he was hopeful to play tonight which means he's likely day-to-day. The Nuggets are 2.5 games behind the Blazers for the No. 8 seed, so if they lose tonight, they may be cautious with the veteran. Jamal Murray will get the start at PG and Emmanuel Mudiay is expected to see "extensive" minutes off the bench.
Apr 2 - 10:51 AM

Jameer Nelson (calf) is questionable to play against the Heat on Sunday.

He said he hopes to play in this game after a Friday injury. Nelson is likely going to be a game-time call, but he was playing very well before his injury. If he's out, Jamal Murray would be a popular DFS play.
Apr 1 - 3:19 PM

Jameer Nelson (calf) said he hopes he will be able to play Sunday vs. Miami.

Nelson left Friday's game early and was unable to return. "I tried to run through it, play through it for a couple of possessions, and it just started getting tighter," said Nelson. "Hopefully by next game it loosens up." Nelson will attend shootaround Sunday morning, and his availability will be determined afterward. Jamal Murray will likely draw the start if Nelson can't play, with Emmanuel Mudiay coming off the bench behind Murray.
