Jameer Nelson, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic will start against the Mavs on Friday.
It would appear the Nuggets will indeed go Jokic-Nurkic in the first unit. Plus, coach Mike Malone likes Jamal Murray off the bench and Will Barton to start should Gary Harris (groin) not be ready. Oct 21 - 8:42 PM

Jameer Nelson, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic are starting Tuesday.

To recap, Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle), Gary Harris (groin), Darrell Arthur (knee) and Wilson Chandler (rest) have all been ruled out. The big takeaway here is that Jokic and Nurkic are still starting together and it should remain that way for the season opener.
Oct 18 - 7:52 PM

Jameer Nelson started Sunday's win vs. the Blazers, finishing with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting with four assists and three rebounds in 27 minutes.

Emmanuel Mudiay sat out with a sprained right ankle, which handed the reins of the offense to Nelson. He sank two 3-pointers tonight, but he's only worth standard-league owners' attention if Mudiay suffers a long-term injury.
Oct 16 - 11:57 PM

The Nuggets will start Jameer Nelson, Jamal Murray, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic on Wednesday.

Denver is resting a handful of players and they're expected to go deep into the rotation tonight, so even the starters may not get a lot of run.
Oct 12 - 7:49 PM

Jameer Nelson isn't sure if he has a future with the Nuggets.

"Like I said we’ll figure it out and see what’s going on," Nelson said. "I would love to come back here. That’s the reason why I signed a three-year deal. But it’s just one of those things that, it’s a business. It’s a business, and we have to figure it out." The Nuggets will likely try to re-sign D.J. Augustin this summer, meaning Nelson would be the third-string PG on the roster, a role that he said isn't "ideal at all." Expect the trade rumors to heat up if Augustin is brought back.

Jameer Nelson (wrist) was a DNP-CD during Friday's overtime loss to the Nets.

Nelson has been available to play over the past two games, but has not left the bench. With how well D.J. Augustin is playing, that trend is unlikely to change any time soon. Leave Nelson on the wire.
Mar 5 - 1:59 AM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) was available to play on Wednesday, but was a healthy scratch.

Nelson's sprained left wrist was feeling good enough to allow him to play on Wednesday, but the Nuggets elected to sit the veteran. With the Nuggets out of the playoff hunt, we'll likely see more healthy scratches for Nelson while Emmanuel Mudiay and D.J. Augustin will see most of the point guard minutes for the Nuggets.

Mar 3 - 9:15 AM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) did not play vs. the Lakers on Wednesday.

Nelson was a healthy DNP-CD on Monday and we're taking him off the injury report. His inactivity is purely the result of Denver playing Emmanuel Mudiay and D.J. Augustin at the point guard spot -- they have no incentive to play an ailing 12-year veteran in the final stages of a lost season.
Mar 3 - 1:44 AM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is available for Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies.

Just because he's available doesn't mean he will play, as D.J. Augustin has taken his spot in the rotation. Leave Nelson on the wire.
Feb 29 - 8:35 PM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is doubtful to play Monday vs. Memphis.

Nelson has been available to play in Denver's previous two outings, but did not actually step foot on the court. D.J. Augustin has taken Nelson’s spot in the rotation, so it's safe to leave the 11-year veteran on the waiver wire in all settings.
Feb 28 - 2:48 PM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is healthy enough to play, but he has been passed in the rotation by D.J. Augustin.

"You know, it's tough," Coach Michael Malone said. "D.J. [Augustin] has played well for us. Emmanuel [Mudiay] is getting the lion's share of the minutes. You can't play three point guards. Jameer and I have talked, and I told him that right now I'm going to play D.J. as the backup." This confirms that Nelson can be left on the wire in almost all fantasy leagues. We are taking him off the injury report.

Feb 27 - 12:29 PM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is available to play Friday vs. the Mavericks.

It's unlikely he actually takes the court tonight, so Jameer isn't an option in any league.
Feb 26 - 7:54 PM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Nelson was available to play on Tuesday, but ended his evening with a DNP-CD, and with how well D.J. Augustin has played lately there are no guarantees that Nelson steps foot on the court tonight. Even if he does get out there, it'll likely be in short stints as he hasn't played since January 30. Nelson belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
Feb 24 - 1:53 PM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) picked up a DNP-CD on Tuesday vs. the Kings.

He was available to play, but coach Michael Malone is probably just being cautious since D.J. Augustin has played well as Emmanuel Mudiay's backup. Nelson belongs on the wire until further notice and we will keep him on the injury report until he returns to action.
Feb 24 - 2:20 AM

Jameer Nelson (wrist) is available to play on Tuesday vs. the Kings.

He was listed as out so this is definitely a surprise. Nelson hasn't played since Jan. 30 and it's not a guarantee that he will see the floor because D.J. Augustin has played well as the backup PG. Leave Nelson on the wire for now.
