Beno Udrih played 30 minutes and hit 4-of-6 shots for nine points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in Tuesday's win.
Goran Dragic appears to be close to returning from his calf injury, but until it happens, Udrih is a decent fantasy option if you need a starting point guard. Jan 26 - 10:38 PM

Date:

Beno Udrih started against the Bulls on Monday with three points, two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Goran Dragic (calf) may come back this week, so Udrih only has short-term value. He's not a high-usage guy and doesn't really rack up the other stats, so he's only worth a look in very deep leagues.
Jan 26 - 12:45 AM

Beno Udrih (neck) will start against the Bulls on Monday.

It'll push Tyler Johnson back to the bench. Udrih did play 33.0 minutes per game in his previous three starts, but expect him to be a tad under 30 in his first game back tonight.
Jan 25 - 7:05 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) is probable to play on Monday vs. Chicago.

It was reported that Udrih was expected to play on Sunday, and this news confirms that the veteran point guard will be out there. He should draw the start with Goran Dragic (calf) still out and Tyler Johnson ineffective in the role.
Jan 25 - 12:45 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) is expected to play against the Bulls on Monday.

He was close to playing on Friday, but has missed the last four games. Udrih will probably wind up starting with Goran Dragic (calf) not close, but Tyler Johnson still looks like the better player to own. Udrih is only worth a look in deep leagues. For what it's worth, he is listed as questionable.
Jan 23 - 4:45 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) will not play against the Raptors on Friday.

It'll be Tyler Johnson in the starting lineup with Josh Richardson backing him up. Udrih isn't worth stashing in almost any league.
Jan 22 - 6:56 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) has a small chance to play on Friday.

Of course he does. He's still doubtful and Tyler Johnson will likely get another start.
Jan 22 - 6:42 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) is not expected to play vs. the Raptors on Friday.

Dwyane Wade (shoulders) has already been ruled out and Goran Dragic (calf) is still on the shelf, meaning the Heat will have to rely on Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson to handle the ball. Both Johnson and Richardson are on the radar in DFS as they could both be looking at heavy minutes.

Beno Udrih (neck) is questionable to play Friday vs. the Raptors.

Both Goran Dragic (calf) and Udrih are being listed as questionable for Friday's game, although both guys seem closer to doubtful. With two of the three point guards in Miami banged up, Tyler Johnson will continue to earn significant playing time as one of the last men standing in Miami's backcourt.
Jan 21 - 4:41 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Wizards.

Udrih said on Tuesday he could miss the next week of action, so for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Friday's game in Toronto. Tyler Johnson will continue to start for the Heat with both Goran Dragic (calf) and Udrih on the sidelines, although after putting up a massive dud on Tuesday, he'll make for a risky DFS play.
Jan 20 - 1:09 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) said that he could miss anywhere from the next couple days, to an entire week of action.

He's traveling with the team on their upcoming five-game road trip, but it sounds like he won't be returning until Friday vs. the Raptors at the earliest, which is also when Goran Dragic (calf) is hopeful to get back on the court. Udrih can be cut just about everywhere, and Tyler Johnson will continue to start for however long Udrih and Dragic are on the sidelines.
Jan 19 - 7:01 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) will travel with the Heat on their upcoming five-game road trip, and he is hoping to get back on the court for Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

Udrih has been ruled out for Tuesday night's game vs. the Bucks, and it sounds like he'll also be out Wednesday vs. the Wizards. Tyler Johnson will continue to soak up all the point guard minutes in Miami with both Goran Dragic (calf) and Udrih on the shelf.
Jan 19 - 6:05 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) will not play against the Bucks on Tuesday.

He missed Sunday due to his neck injury, which opened up huge minutes for Tyler Johnson. Goran Dragic (calf) is still out, so Johnson is looking at big minutes yet again.
Jan 18 - 2:38 PM

Beno Udrih (neck) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder.

This is the first we're hearing of a neck injury for Udrih, and the Heat are going to be extremely short-handed tonight with Goran Dragic (calf) also on the sidelines. Look for Tyler Johnson to log major minutes with Josh Richardson serving as his primary backup. Dwyane Wade (shoulders) is going to try and play tonight, and if he's able to give it a go, he'll spend a lot of time running Miami's offense.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra praised Beno Udrih for his performance in Friday's win over the Nuggets.

"It's so vital," Spoelstra said. "The no turnovers, the choreographing our entire offensive attack. He's absolutely in tuned with the bench, with the game plan and where we want the ball to go." Udrih scored 11 points with 11 assists, three boards, one steal and one 3-pointer, and he will continue to start on Sunday vs. the Thunder with Goran Dragic (calf) still on the shelf. If you need short-term value, Udrih should be on your radar.
